I just have one thing to say ask yourself If I died right this minute would I be ready to ascend to the next life that God has so graciously provided for each of us through his death burial and resurrection. You are in control of nothing he decides it all you are being tested in your puny short lives of 100 yrs or less to see if your worthy of second chance in a brand new world. There at least as many good secular reasons to oppose gay marriage as there are religious or traditionally moral ones.

First, the family unit is the basic building block of human society. Virtually all roles are complimentary and everyone naturally plays theirs within the nuclear & extended families in their clan and tribe structures with very little training needed.

Second, this socialization is so obviously strongly instinctive and mutually beneficial that when Native Americans were discovered in they were organized that way, as were the Inuit, the Polynesians and the lost tribes of Africa. These societies although technically deficient and without written law and are economically without waste so they are able to manage property rights, inheritance, domestic and foreign policy, defense, education and social welfare without outside support. Third, the economic input required to alter this instinctive societal organization or replace the traditional family is a luxury so expensive, without any hope for financial ROI, that it is economically absurd to society. For a better understanding of this brush up on the paradox of savings.

Fourth, by definition, productive society needs steady positive population growth to survive. The nuclear family is the most efficient, not the only, way to get that growth.

Fifth, it also has the advantage of producing measurably better outcomes in terms of lifetime net economic output the government can then tax and redistribute.

Sixth, society has the obligation, to invest it's scarce resources responsibly and protect the investments that generate the best returns for the benefit of all. There is a general principal of a risk reward ratio when evaluating investments. Investing in the traditional family structure is unique in that it has both the greatest return and least risk of any alternative. Investing otherwise is negligence.

I mean come on people same sex relations is just plain idiotic even the baboons realize that. The only reason the Supreme Court gives the people the laws they want is so they won't lose their limousines million dollar homes fancy clothes cosmetic surgery caviar their riches simply put. They could care less about morality as long as they are at the top. They are trading a temporary life of greed and power instead of an eternity in paradise sold their souls for short term gain. I agree they have freedom of speech but that does not mean we have to listen and legally authorize what they demand. Our argument is about destroying an institution that is the bedrock of society by demanding that it be redefined and that the redefinition be made law and that law be rammed down everyone's throat. You are aware that incidents such as cake bakers who refuse "gay" wedding cake orders are being fined. Pastors are being required to present their sermons to government prior to giving the sermon to make sure there's no anti "gay" content..How about the Pastors right to free speech ?? How about the cake bakers right to do business with whom he chooses.??

Sicilianthing I am just trying to get people to look at the big picture nobody seems to care from that aspect. They are all wrapped up in their own agenda. I don't know it all stinks of corruption the executive legislative and judicial systems state and federal levels is there any hope for us do we even deserve it.
