Adequate. Barely. You should use multiples of five, though. I think it provides more impact.

Roosevelt actually left the GOP after his Presidency and joined the Progressive Party later called the Bull Moose party. He ran for President and lost.

Of course you don't whine about paying taxes BECAUSE you don't pay very many. You are in the bottom 50%

Come on now, is this supposed to be a work of profundity. The fact that Teddy, or anyone, makes an observation of imperfection within our society is somehow a condemnation of one group or another. Socialism of the Communist Party and Socialism of the Democrat Party may very in cause and application, but their eventual damage to our founding Principals are the same. Huck

Dennis, TR lost to Wilson, another progressive because the Republican Party was split.

What's keeping you tea baggers from not paying taxes right now? I have several dandy answers but I doubt if you people would like any of them even though they would be the truth.

Thats why I think that Teddy Roosevelt was a great President. It is hard to believe that he was a Republican, but then again the old guard of the GOP called him " that damned cowboy ".

That was the age of compromise not the age of the corporate take over of Amerca. The Conservative Judges on the SCOTUS have allowed this to happen by striking down campaign finance and Voter rights. But I am a believer that the GOPTP with all there Lies voter suppression and propaganda will take over the Senate and now they will actually have to vote on something and they can't run from there votes. So please GOPTP take over the Senate this country really needs a wake up call to see that your policies and agenda will destroy this country just like your buddy in Kansas and Bush destruction
