Good morning all, May the Grace and Peace of Jesus Christ be with you all. Let us pray,
"In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"

Lord Jesus may your blessings and forgiveness come upon us as we pray the Ancient Prayers of Solomon son of David, King of Israel and your servant.

The Consoling Memory of God’s Redemptive Works
To the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph.

I cried out to God with my voice—
To God with my voice;
And He gave ear to me.
In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord;
My hand was stretched out in the night without ceasing;
My soul refused to be comforted.
I remembered God, and was troubled;
I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah
You hold my eyelids open;
I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
I have considered the days of old,
The years of ancient times.
I call to remembrance my song in the night;
I meditate within my heart,
And my spirit makes diligent search.
Will the Lord cast off forever?
And will He be favorable no more?
Has His mercy ceased forever?
Has His promise failed forevermore?
Has God forgotten to be gracious?
Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies? Selah
And I said, “This is my anguish;
But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.”
I will remember the works of the Lord;
Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.
I will also meditate on all Your work,
And talk of Your deeds.
Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary;
Who is so great a God as our God?
You are the God who does wonders;
You have declared Your strength among the peoples.
You have with Your arm redeemed Your people,
The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah
The waters saw You, O God;
The waters saw You, they were afraid;
The depths also trembled.
The clouds poured out water;
The skies sent out a sound;
Your arrows also flashed about.
The voice of Your thunder was in the whirlwind;
The lightnings lit up the world;
The earth trembled and shook.
Your way was in the sea,
Your path in the great waters,
And Your footsteps were not known.
You led Your people like a flock
By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Psalm 77:1-20

God is great and does answer the prayers of the righteous in times of trouble. He eases the soul, and protects the right, though that protection may not always seem right, it is right. Thank God for the infinite wisdom He shares with each and everyone of us. God bless those who hear His wisdom and understands. Lord, make us understand your wisdom and learn your wisdom, we ask this in Your name, we ask this in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, guide and inspire my words today. O Lord, I ask that You forgive our sins, forgive the sins of this nation, come upon its people and restore in them the faith upon which this nation was founded, that we may once again walk in the favor of Your light.

Prayer for
PSALM 77

Good morning, Lord. It's always a good morning when we can wake up, get up, and enjoy a cup of coffee with You. You take our sleepy imagination and we soar above the stars to see worlds unknown, worlds within Your heavenly kingdom. We see where peace, and love flourish; where flowers bloom all around, and crops never fail. We see children filled with joy, so delightful to watch. Everyone works together, and they willingly share. That will be our world when You return. Then, it will be real.

Now, Lord, we come back to reality. We look around to see pain, wars, evil appears to abound, but always we can turn our sights to You. If only to escape into imagination, we can hide under Your mighty wings, and be sheltered from all the world. The world can be in turmoil, and everything appears to crumple, then it disappears, it is gone forever and we look out to once again see the sunshine, and birds singing. A new world has arisen from the ashes, a world with You as the center of our sunshine. Praise the Lord!

Yes, Lord, as the saying goes, 'the more things change, the more they stay the same.' That will continue until You return, a return we eagerly await. There are so many needs we bring to You. You patiently wait to hear from us. We pray for our troops who face danger hourly, protect them, Lord. Comfort their families, keep them strong. Comfort Zyro, who is grieving, nevertheless, still in prayer searching for Your touch. Restore self-worth within the hearts of Pete and David, bless Mike and MaryBeth for all their efforts.

You have heard our prayers for the Kurds in Kobani, thank You, Lord. Continue to have them hold the city where Christians dwell. Help them to drive ISIS to the hills. Always we look for help in needs of healing, for Dave, Roxy's brother, have him grow strong enough to travel home, home where the heart is. Christopher is resting, continue to knit and rewire severed tissue. Continue to bless his family with patience. Thank You for John's recovery, and today we look to You to bless Ranger with good news.

Israel's well being is always in our prayers. We look to Your beloved to be strong and safe. We are concerned about our America, Illegals, Ebola, what will the next crisis be? Next will we hear our money fails? As long as our faith never fails, we will make it Lord, we have You. You will see us through all these manufactured problems. Thank You, Lord. We give You all praise, honor, and glory, for You are worthy. We pray in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, thanking You and praising You. Amen

God ofOur Fathers

1 God of the ages, whose almighty hand
leads forth in beauty all the starry band
of shining worlds in splendor through the skies,
our grateful songs before thy throne arise.

2 Thy love divine hath led us in the past;
in this free land with thee our lot is cast;
be thou our ruler, guardian, guide, and stay,
thy Word our law, thy paths our chosen way.

3 From war's alarms, from deadly pestilence,
be thy strong arm our ever sure defense;
thy true religion in our hearts increase;
thy bounteous goodness nourish us in peace.

4 Refresh thy people on their toilsome way;
lead us from night to never-ending day;
fill all our lives with love and grace divine,
and glory, laud, and praise be ever thine.

God’s Kindness to Rebellious Israel
A Contemplation of Asaph.

Give ear, O my people, to my law;
Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable;
I will utter dark sayings of old,
Which we have heard and known,
And our fathers have told us.
We will not hide them from their children,
Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,
And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.
For He established a testimony in Jacob,
And appointed a law in Israel,
Which He commanded our fathers,
That they should make them known to their children;
That the generation to come might know them,
The children who would be born,
That they may arise and declare them to their children,
That they may set their hope in God,
And not forget the works of God,
But keep His commandments;
And may not be like their fathers,
A stubborn and rebellious generation,
A generation that did not set its heart aright,
And whose spirit was not faithful to God.
The children of Ephraim, being armed and carrying bows,
Turned back in the day of battle.
They did not keep the covenant of God;
They refused to walk in His law,
And forgot His works
And His wonders that He had shown them.
Marvelous things He did in the sight of their fathers,
In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.
He divided the sea and caused them to pass through;
And He made the waters stand up like a heap.
In the daytime also He led them with the cloud,
And all the night with a light of fire.
He split the rocks in the wilderness,
And gave them drink in abundance like the depths.
He also brought streams out of the rock,
And caused waters to run down like rivers.
But they sinned even more against Him
By rebelling against the Most High in the wilderness.
And they tested God in their heart
By asking for the food of their fancy.
Yes, they spoke against God:
They said, “Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?
Behold, He struck the rock,
So that the waters gushed out,
And the streams overflowed.
Can He give bread also?
Can He provide meat for His people?”
Therefore the Lord heard this and was furious;
So a fire was kindled against Jacob,
And anger also came up against Israel,
Because they did not believe in God,
And did not trust in His salvation.
Yet He had commanded the clouds above,
And opened the doors of heaven,
Had rained down manna on them to eat,
And given them of the bread of heaven.
Men ate angels’ food;
He sent them food to the full.
He caused an east wind to blow in the heavens;
And by His power He brought in the south wind.
He also rained meat on them like the dust,
Feathered fowl like the sand of the seas;
And He let them fall in the midst of their camp,
All around their dwellings.
So they ate and were well filled,
For He gave them their own desire.
They were not deprived of their craving;
But while their food was still in their mouths,
The wrath of God came against them,
And slew the stoutest of them,
And struck down the choice men of Israel.
In spite of this they still sinned,
And did not believe in His wondrous works.
Therefore their days He consumed in futility,
And their years in fear.
When He slew them, then they sought Him;
And they returned and sought earnestly for God.
Then they remembered that God was their rock,
And the Most High God their Redeemer.
Nevertheless they flattered Him with their mouth,
And they lied to Him with their tongue;
For their heart was not steadfast with Him,
Nor were they faithful in His covenant.
But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity,
And did not destroy them.
Yes, many a time He turned His anger away,
And did not stir up all His wrath;
For He remembered that they were but flesh,
A breath that passes away and does not come again.
How often they provoked Him in the wilderness,
And grieved Him in the desert!
Yes, again and again they tempted God,
And limited the Holy One of Israel.
They did not remember His power:
The day when He redeemed them from the enemy,
When He worked His signs in Egypt,
And His wonders in the field of Zoan;
Turned their rivers into blood,
And their streams, that they could not drink.
He sent swarms of flies among them, which devoured them,
And frogs, which destroyed them.
He also gave their crops to the caterpillar,
And their labor to the locust.
He destroyed their vines with hail,
And their sycamore trees with frost.
He also gave up their cattle to the hail,
And their flocks to fiery lightning.
He cast on them the fierceness of His anger,
Wrath, indignation, and trouble,
By sending angels of destruction among them.
He made a path for His anger;
He did not spare their soul from death,
But gave their life over to the plague,
And destroyed all the firstborn in Egypt,
The first of their strength in the tents of Ham.
But He made His own people go forth like sheep,
And guided them in the wilderness like a flock;
And He led them on safely, so that they did not fear;
But the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
And He brought them to His holy border,
This mountain which His right hand had acquired.
He also drove out the nations before them,
Allotted them an inheritance by survey,
And made the tribes of Israel dwell in their tents.
Yet they tested and provoked the Most High God,
And did not keep His testimonies,
But turned back and acted unfaithfully like their fathers;
They were turned aside like a deceitful bow.
For they provoked Him to anger with their high places,
And moved Him to jealousy with their carved images.
When God heard this, He was furious,
And greatly abhorred Israel,
So that He forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh,
The tent He had placed among men,
And delivered His strength into captivity,
And His glory into the enemy’s hand.
He also gave His people over to the sword,
And was furious with His inheritance.
The fire consumed their young men,
And their maidens were not given in marriage.
Their priests fell by the sword,
And their widows made no lamentation.
Then the Lord awoke as from sleep,
Like a mighty man who shouts because of wine.
And He beat back His enemies;
He put them to a perpetual reproach.
Moreover He rejected the tent of Joseph,
And did not choose the tribe of Ephraim,
But chose the tribe of Judah,
Mount Zion which He loved.
And He built His sanctuary like the heights,
Like the earth which He has established forever.
He also chose David His servant,
And took him from the sheepfolds;
From following the ewes that had young He brought him,
To shepherd Jacob His people,
And Israel His inheritance.
So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart,
And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.
Psalm 78:1-72

And the Psalm says it all! So in his words, we ask this in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"

Guide Me

1 Guide me, O my great Redeemer,
pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but you are mighty;
hold me with your powerful hand.
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven,
feed me now and evermore,
feed me now and evermore.

2 Open now the crystal fountain,
where the healing waters flow.
Let the fire and cloudy pillar
lead me all my journey through.
Strong Deliverer, strong Deliverer,
ever be my strength and shield,
ever be my strength and shield.

3 When I tread the verge of Jordan,
bid my anxious fears subside.
Death of death, and hell's Destruction,
land me safe on Canaan's side.
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever sing to you,
I will ever sing to you.

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, guide and inspire my words today. O Lord, I ask that You forgive our sins, forgive the sins of this nation, come upon its people and restore in them the faith upon which this nation was founded, that we may once again walk in the favor of Your light.

Prayer for
PSALM 78

O Lord, what a history Israel has, so abundant were Your blessings, but like spoiled children always they wanted more. Lord, You are a loving, indulgent Father. How You enjoy watching us grow. When we were young, crossing prairies and mountains to conquer a land from sea to sea, You were held most high. Because they knew You, and praised You - You were always ready to bless. You blessed them by inspiring inventions that made life easier. You blessed the nation to grow and prosper.

Why, why Lord are we so blind; how did we lose our way? We won two World Wars, and we weren't even prepared for war. We sent a man to the moon, he saluted You. Now our battles are being fought to enrich a few, lives mean nothing to them. We find ourself on a narrow mountain trail, a ledge that only goats traverse - a dead-end trail? We do not want to be among the goats, Lord, we want to be safe in the sheepfold, so now we earnestly cry, "Save our soul, Lord, we need You. Return to us, we need You."

Our need is evident in the fact that we have our military dispersed fighting an unseen enemy - Ebola; or, in forsaken lands fighting desert fleas. Whichever place You find them, Lord, be their guide, their protector. They really need You, as do their families who wait for them. As people drift away from You, needs grow greater, and tears flow more readily. We have praises and garlands to heap upon You for the blessed victories of the Kurds. You have blessed their efforts to save Christians, thank You, Lord.

Lord our plea is that You lift any traces of guilt from the tender hearts of David and Pete, children of abuse, fill them with self-confidence. Bless Mike and Marybeth, who try to help them. So many need Your comforting touch, Zyro suffers the loss of a dear friend; Sarah fights depression, help her find a position she can focus on rather than past hurts; bring Dave home to his sister, Roxy, to family that loves him. Have Christopher continue to mend and grow strong, and keep the family strong. Ranger still awaits a posting.

Always, we keep Your beloved Israel in our prayers. Wake them to tell 'The Story' to the nations. America, where are we on Your map, Lord? Where is our future - a once great nation. Will we be reduced to pockets of believers who forge ahead like the pioneers of old; or will our entire nation fold into oblivion; or worse yet - just a continued den of thieves and vipers. I believe You will see us through all manipulated problems to rise again a nation dedicated to You. We give You all praise, honor, and glory as we offer our prayer in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, thanking You. Amen

Prayer for

God, our Almighty Father,

How wondrous are your works. Father I pray that you attend your ear to our prayers. Where else can we go in times such as these for you not only have but are the Words of life.

Lord I pray that the thoughts of our nation turn from all the unsettled issues and return to you. Thoughts of you are the highest and you are the most important thought that we may pursue. Father you are the arbiter of our eternal destiny as well as the protector and guide for daily living.

Help us to return to basics of your Word in a childlike faith. Help us to remember that Jesus does love us for the Bible tells us so.

Once again Father your Children are quickly approaching a no way out situation physically. Help us to bring what we know spiritually over into what is happening in this sin filled world.

We thank you for the brave warriors who are on the fields of battle; we ask you to hedge them about with your unseen angelic forces.

Father help us who are past the age of going to defend not only this great nation, but the very principles that came from you to give us freedom and liberty to subdue this land of America and make it the greatest nation ever. Help us to be warriors in our own stead by growing closer to you and interceding for those who are in harms way.

Father, we beg for discernment for those who are lost and dying spiritually. Help us to have the word and the courage, the wisdom that can only come from you to remove the blindness the god of this world has placed in their minds.

Eternal Father, forgive us of our many sins and failures. Take our nation back as you took back the prodigal son, as you have promised if we return our hearts back to you.

Father please meet the needs of all who are fearless to claim your name either here on the opp or in their own locations. May our lives serve as a witness of your love, grace, and mercy.

We love you because you first loved us. Father open all our eyes to make life as simple as we can possibly make it by simply remembering to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. What a sweet simple statement on your part that could move mountains and change the entire world on our part if we all would just submit to these words.

Thank you Father for what you have done, what you are doing, and what you will do forever. In Jesus Name we pray Amen.

OH, THANK YOU, EACH OF YOU FOR YOUR WORDS AND POSTINGS

Our God is a powerful force when we pull together to bring that power down to earth. We CAN do it, we can move mountains. What a mighty prayer, Armie. You'll have to do it more often.

My mouth is smiling, but my heart is laughing with joy. Thank You, each and everyone.

Lord Jesus may your blessings and forgiveness come upon us as we pray the Ancient Prayers of Solomon son of David, King of Israel and your servant.

God’s Kindness to Rebellious Israel
A Contemplation of Asaph.

Give ear, O my people, to my law;
Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable;
I will utter dark sayings of old,
Which we have heard and known,
And our fathers have told us.
We will not hide them from their children,
Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,
And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.
For He established a testimony in Jacob,
And appointed a law in Israel,
Which He commanded our fathers,
That they should make them known to their children;
That the generation to come might know them,
The children who would be born,
That they may arise and declare them to their children,
That they may set their hope in God,
And not forget the works of God,
But keep His commandments;
And may not be like their fathers,
A stubborn and rebellious generation,
A generation that did not set its heart aright,
And whose spirit was not faithful to God.
The children of Ephraim, being armed and carrying bows,
Turned back in the day of battle.
They did not keep the covenant of God;
They refused to walk in His law,
And forgot His works
And His wonders that He had shown them.
Marvelous things He did in the sight of their fathers,
In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.
He divided the sea and caused them to pass through;
And He made the waters stand up like a heap.
Therefore the Lord heard this and was furious;
So a fire was kindled against Jacob,
And anger also came up against Israel,
Because they did not believe in God,
And did not trust in His salvation.
Yet He had commanded the clouds above,
And opened the doors of heaven,
Had rained down manna on them to eat,
And given them of the bread of heaven.
Men ate angels’ food;
He sent them food to the full.
He caused an east wind to blow in the heavens;
And by His power He brought in the south wind.
He also rained meat on them like the dust,
Feathered fowl like the sand of the seas;
And He let them fall in the midst of their camp,
All around their dwellings.
So they ate and were well filled,
For He gave them their own desire.
They were not deprived of their craving;
But while their food was still in their mouths,
The wrath of God came against them,
And slew the stoutest of them,
And struck down the choice men of Israel.
In spite of this they still sinned,
And did not believe in His wondrous works.
Therefore their days He consumed in futility,
And their years in fear.
When He slew them, then they sought Him;
And they returned and sought earnestly for God.
Then they remembered that God was their rock,
And the Most High God their Redeemer.
Nevertheless they flattered Him with their mouth,
And they lied to Him with their tongue;
For their heart was not steadfast with Him,
Nor were they faithful in His covenant.
But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity,
And did not destroy them.
Yes, many a time He turned His anger away,
And did not stir up all His wrath;
For He remembered that they were but flesh,
A breath that passes away and does not come again.
How often they provoked Him in the wilderness,
And grieved Him in the desert!
Yes, again and again they tempted God,
And limited the Holy One of Israel.
They did not remember His power:
The day when He redeemed them from the enemy,
When He worked His signs in Egypt,
And His wonders in the field of Zoan;
He made a path for His anger;
He did not spare their soul from death,
But gave their life over to the plague,
And destroyed all the firstborn in Egypt,
The first of their strength in the tents of Ham.
But He made His own people go forth like sheep,
And guided them in the wilderness like a flock;
And He led them on safely, so that they did not fear;
But the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
And He brought them to His holy border,
This mountain which His right hand had acquired.
He also drove out the nations before them,
Allotted them an inheritance by survey,
And made the tribes of Israel dwell in their tents.
Yet they tested and provoked the Most High God,
And did not keep His testimonies,
But turned back and acted unfaithfully like their fathers;
They were turned aside like a deceitful bow.
For they provoked Him to anger with their high places,
And moved Him to jealousy with their carved images.
When God heard this, He was furious,
And greatly abhorred Israel,
So that He forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh,
The tent He had placed among men,
And delivered His strength into captivity,
And His glory into the enemy’s hand.
He also gave His people over to the sword,
And was furious with His inheritance.
The fire consumed their young men,
And their maidens were not given in marriage.
Their priests fell by the sword,
And their widows made no lamentation.
Then the Lord awoke as from sleep,
Like a mighty man who shouts because of wine.
And He beat back His enemies;
He also chose David His servant,
And took him from the sheepfolds;

Good morning all, May the Grace and Peace of Jesus... (show quote)

A Dirge and a Prayer for Israel, Destroyed by Enemies
A Psalm of Asaph.

O God, the nations have come into Your inheritance;
Your holy temple they have defiled;
They have laid Jerusalem in heaps.
The dead bodies of Your servants
They have given as food for the birds of the heavens,
The flesh of Your saints to the beasts of the earth.
Their blood they have shed like water all around Jerusalem,
And there was no one to bury them.
We have become a reproach to our neighbors,
A scorn and derision to those who are around us.
How long, Lord?
Will You be angry forever?
Will Your jealousy burn like fire?
Pour out Your wrath on the nations that do not know You,
And on the kingdoms that do not call on Your name.
For they have devoured Jacob,
And laid waste his dwelling place.
Oh, do not remember former iniquities against us!
Let Your tender mercies come speedily to meet us,
For we have been brought very low.
Help us, O God of our salvation,
For the glory of Your name;
And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins,
For Your name’s sake!
Why should the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
Let there be known among the nations in our sight
The avenging of the blood of Your servants which has been shed.
11 Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You;
According to the greatness of Your power
Preserve those who are appointed to die;
And return to our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom
Their reproach with which they have reproached You, O Lord.
So we, Your people and sheep of Your pasture,
Will give You thanks forever;
We will show forth Your praise to all generations.
Psalm 79:1-13

God Bless America, and every American living here in the United States. We ask this in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, guide and inspire my words today. O Lord, I ask that You forgive our sins, forgive the sins of this nation, come upon its people and restore in them the faith upon which this nation was founded, that we may once again walk in the favor of Your light.

Prayer for
PSALM 79

Good morning, Lord. A new day will be dawning soon, we can look at it as the first day for the rest of our life. The morning star was bright, the sky was clear - a good start to this new day. The best part, You are there to see us off, on our new day. Whatever it may bring, we know You will be with us. Thank You, Lord, Your love and care is comforting. Whatever activities are before us, have us always be ready to share Your Good News. You shower us with many blessings, Lord, and we sincerely thank You.

Israel has gone through some really tough times, but they are resilient and they have You. You always bring them back, even from the brink of annihilation. Israel was occupied by wandering tribes, then in 1948 You opened the door for their return. They have come back to renew the land, to make the ground green again, rich with crops. Your love, and their effort have produced great results. We know You will continue to bless them, and keep them. We pray that You do the same for America.

When the future looks darkest, then it's time to stop thinking about tomorrow and concentrate on today. Today, we look to You to bring forth the sunshine; we look to You to protect our troops, wherever they may be; we look to You to care for their families. We also come to You, and ask that You influence the Turks to fight with the Kurds, that ISIS is a far greater threat to them than the Kurds. Have both factions fight, not only for the Christians, but have them know it is for their very lives.

A nation has sunk pretty low when children are abused, be with all children of abuse. Bless them to be rescued, and revive their spirits to live again. Be with Mike and MaryBeth, and all families that offer these children refuge. We ask you comfort Zyro who suffers the loss of a friend; Sarah who is fighting depression; and others who need you desperately. Have Roxy hear soon that Dave will be coming home. Ranger is still awaiting that right posting, have it be today. Today, and every day, we praise You, Lord.

Our prayers remain with good fortune and safety for Israel; keep our America safe, protect us from dangers within and without. Have us look forward to today, tomorrow is in Your hands to prepare for us. Have our heart always be full of the joy You supply. Thank You for all our blessings, help us appreciate what we have. We offer our prayer in the name of the Father, Son, and holy Ghost. Amen
