To each their own---fairy tales. Some people want to believe they descended from a woman who conversed with a talking serpent.
Others would rather live their lives from the messages contained within Grimm's Fairy Tales; still others prefer Dr. Seuss.
Whatever floats your boat............
Y'know, I like the way your reply has absolutely
nothing to do with the post you're replying to! Not a thing. That says a
lot about you (If you were better at it you could be a politician), the first being that you have had spiritual instruction, probably as a youngster, which you later rebelled against. The subject is an uncomfortable one for you, because your
conscience, I suspect, still yammers at you from time to time, so you compensate with sarcasm and condescension.
My question,
many folks other than Bible thumpers, including the initiator of this post, hold the same view, so why just pick on the Bible thumpers?, you ignored.
Instead, you post a dichotomous reply, the first part of which expresses derision and disrespect for the views of people of faith, and the second part, which is a complete lie, suggests you're OK with that, implying
you're the adult in the room dealing with a bunch of childeren.
For the record, if you
can't hear spritual messages in the Bible, Grimms Fairy Tales, Dr. Suess and in
everything else you see and hear all day, every day, if you aren't already spiritually dead, you soon will be. When that happens your conscience will no longer trouble you...so keep on searing it with the blowtorch of rationalization. One day the scar tissue will become an impermeable barrier.
