States make laws that governs marriage unless those laws are unconstitutional. That's why people of different races can marry, and nobody can have three husbands.

Not yet but just wait, it is on the horizon.

I think you can convince a far left lawyer to take this case Pro Bono. He will use the consensual sex argument and bring in a paid animal expert who will claim a MOO is a yes

The Supreme Court just rejected appeals from Indiana, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. The court's order immediately ends delays on homosexual marriage in those states, and in six other states, Colorado, Kansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Wyoming, homosexuals also should be able to get married soon as those states are bound by the same appellate rulings. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/10/06/supreme-court-denies-gay-marriage-appeals/

Well, I want to marry my cow. Bessie is such a sweet cow and is always willing to present her back end to me when I want to knock off a little, and never ever craps on my junk while I'm doing it, which is way more than I can say for any other cow I've copulated with. I love her and I want to marry her.

If that funny-dressing guy who runs the goat farm can marry his sister's boyfriend (and Wow, did that ever get entertaining when she found out), then I see no reason at all why I shouldn't be able to marry my sweet Bessie. After all, if marriage no longer has any meaning except as a declaration of affection anymore, then who has the right to say I can't marry anyone or ANYTHING that I love?

Back when marriage blessed unions that produced children who would not be considered bastards and pariahs in their societies, so that everyone knew that the children were protected by law, Man and in the eye of God, marriage was a sacred thing. Now, marriage has nothing to do with children, and there's no reason left why I shouldn't be allowed to marry my cow.

Didn't your parents teach you, "Why marry the cow when you can get the milk for free?". When I was a teen, that was a very popular lesson......especially to teach one's daughters.

We are now living in very different times......things change.

If you told your teen daughter that now, all you would get is an eye-roll and a "what-ever".

You let anyone milk your daughter, how nice....the milk...for free.....must be one frigging nasty ugly bitch if you are wanting to have her give her milk for free and you gave her a popular lesson, too......wow....I have something you can milk, too....hanging for ya.....

Mine told me a couple of weeks ago that I would certainly make it to 90 and stayed with the usual 6 months. He hasn't done much more than jaw a little in the years I have been with him. He based my nearly 10 more years on the fact that in January I will celebrate my 10th anniversary from the 6 by-pass surgery. Things just haven't really changed much since then.

Good news is never hard to take from your cardiologist, is it?

Is your being a Jew, Democrat the reason your women think like that?

I haven't voted for a Democrat for high office since I did so for Kathleen Sebelius for Governor of Kansas and sure won't again since I found out what she really has been all alone.

The thing that bothers me so much is that one day I may well vote for a Democrat for President after I have taken up permanent residence under the grass. Democrats do raid the cemeteries this time of year, especially in Presidential years and I sure hope they miss my name.

When i looked at this Ray Stevens song, I noticed that Mississippi Squirrel Revival was also available, it is on the right side of the screen. It is one of my favorite songs of that nature. Listen to it while you are there.

To each their own---fairy tales. Some people want to believe they descended from a woman who conversed with a talking serpent.

Others would rather live their lives from the messages contained within Grimm's Fairy Tales; still others prefer Dr. Seuss.

Whatever floats your boat............

Y'know, I like the way your reply has absolutely nothing to do with the post you're replying to! Not a thing. That says a lot about you (If you were better at it you could be a politician), the first being that you have had spiritual instruction, probably as a youngster, which you later rebelled against. The subject is an uncomfortable one for you, because your conscience, I suspect, still yammers at you from time to time, so you compensate with sarcasm and condescension.

My question, many folks other than Bible thumpers, including the initiator of this post, hold the same view, so why just pick on the Bible thumpers?, you ignored.

Instead, you post a dichotomous reply, the first part of which expresses derision and disrespect for the views of people of faith, and the second part, which is a complete lie, suggests you're OK with that, implying you're the adult in the room dealing with a bunch of childeren.

For the record, if you can't hear spritual messages in the Bible, Grimms Fairy Tales, Dr. Suess and in everything else you see and hear all day, every day, if you aren't already spiritually dead, you soon will be. When that happens your conscience will no longer trouble you...so keep on searing it with the blowtorch of rationalization. One day the scar tissue will become an impermeable barrier.
