I don't think any of you who answered are liberals.
Liberal: favorable to progress or reform

All you have done is write disparaging remarks.
Liberal: free from bigotry and propaganda.
:( sadly you are not

Unwarrantless progress from Bad to INSANELY worse just does not cut it for most people....but if you can be a liberal then you can muster up the ability to think any crap is what you deserve.....so sad that mental illness creates a lack of function to anything normal....

And could you blame anyone for wanting to avoid the garbage that this CLOWN would produce? Ask a two year old how to write a bill to fix the military spending and you would hold a better proposed bill than what some brain dead Muslim hell bent on screwing the United States would ever design. I would not want to endorse anything King Barry drafted or asked to be signed...only a moron would.

Really? What are republicans trying to do to the President?

A very few of the Republicans, those who still believe in the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, are trying to prevent the radical, fundamental transformation of this nation from a free society into a collectivist state, that ALL the Democrats and far too many Republicans are only too happy to bring about.
As the socialist party candidate for president, Norman Thomas said in a 1944 speech, " The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day, America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." He went on to say: "I no longer need to run as a presidential candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democrat Party has adopted our platform."
And right he was

Unfortunately you are correct in your statement. And if anyone does not believe that the communists under the guise of "progressive" have orchestrated the internal destruction of the country by financing all the social manipulation that has lowered our moral standards and the expectations of civil behavior from ALL of its citizens, they are naive.

Beautifully said, Rick. I've often mentioned the Communists' use of incrementalism to attain their final goal, but I never knew WHO to quote - Norman Thomas. I must remember his name - it deserves to live in infamy. He knew Americans far better than most Americans today know Americans. We have witnessed the absolute truth of his statement.

Wow! You're really digging! Let's see, two wars, which at the most, and I'll use the left's exaggerated numbers, $2 trillion. Latest numbers on Medicare D are less than the projected cost of $150 billion in 2030...last number I saw was for 2010 at $16 billion (1% GDP, a drop in the bucket). Now, it doesn't take a math genius to figure out that those numbers don't come near bankrupting the country. Your home boy Obama has added close to $8 trillion to the national debt (in 6 years) already, and Bush added $5.5 trillion in 8 years. Now, if it only takes $2 trillion over 5-6 years to bankrupt the country, what has Obama's $8 trillion over 6 years done!

Okay, here is a history lesson, and economics lesson for you. It was the housing bubble bursting that brought this economy to it's knees...plus a run on the banks (thus TARP, and Obama got half of that), which some say was caused by George Soros. But, the killer was the housing bubble...Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae out of control. The Republicans back in 2004 tried to stop these toxic loans, and tried to bring Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae back under control, but your side, the Democrats filibustered it. Sen McCain back in 2004 predicted what would happen in a speech on the Senate floor, and guess what? It did happen.

Nice try pal, but that dog don't hunt. Another factor is electing a Democrat House in 2006. The deficit was down to around $160 billion, until the new Democrat House started spending. Then, the crash.

You DO realize how laws get passed, don't you? BOTH the House and the Senate have to have a majority vote for them , and the president has to sign it into law. THE REPUBLICANS CAN'T PASS ANYTHING INTO LAW BY THEMSELVES!!
