Well, Old Roy.....I'm not going to get into much about Obamacare and socialized healthcare...No..I'm not....
I will give food for thought....Last Sunday, in a country in the EU, Switzerland, to be exact...They had a national vote on Government healthcare....65% NO!.....And, they make such good watches!
So, What do they know that we don't?

I head that one third didn't pay their premiums and thousands more piglets didn't prove that they qualified for a gift from the robber sow. Why and how did your wife qualify for subsidies. If the plan is not good enough to not need to subsidize anyone it would be good. As it is, IT IS A POOR PLAN. There should not be subsidies. There was state,federal and public assistance for ANYONE who couldn't get insurance before the ACA.

And a lot of those eight million are those who had their perfectly good policies, that Obama knowingly lied about them being able to keep, canceled. They had to replace their old policies with ones that cost more, had higher deductibles, and less services. Pretty rich claiming the Republicans aren't talking about Obamacare, it was built on calculated lies, told repeatedly, the problem is Obama lies so often, and about so many things, there isn't really enough time to cover all of them. And Obama NEVER stops lying, it's the only thing he is really competent at

That's unfortunate. It was a bi-partisan effort with the Republicans supporting Bill Cliinton reversing the Glass-Steagall Act amongst other things...it was all Wall Street banditry after that.

I wonder how many of the "Obamacare lovers" even know the make up of the group that wrote that law behind closed doors in Harry Reid offices. I will bet this one doesn't know that there were three insurance leaders in constant attendance. That would be nearly the same number as Senators who took part.

grumbledog talking about how great UCA is never stops to think about what it did to millions of people who got their old policies back at much higher rates. My son (28 at the time) was dropped because his policy didn't fit UCA rules and later was taken back with about a $30 monthly raise in cost with so many things on his policy that he didn't need. Things like childhood dental care and other childhood things (he doesn't have any children and isn't married) and of course all that care for women was added and he still isn't married and therefore childless.
