Are you using buc shot or slugs in that puppy? I personally would prefer the slugs as they make a nice hole through and through. Buc shot definitely does some damage and i have it in my scatter-gun along with a 9 mm to go with it .

I keep thinking about that Taurus pistol that takes either 410 or 45 but it's small and I don't know how much kick is involved

Most of them are chambered to also fire .45 cal pistol rounds.

I am using what is called... PDX-1. it has a slug followd by buck shot then a slug and then buckshot. One never knows how big a hole needs to be...It's a little expensive but well worth the cost. For my personal hand gun I have a Remington 45 auto. It's really a bad boy. I use to have a 9mm, those are cool as well, they defenatly get the job done.
