I didn't watch, but he has never said that it is not an attempt at an Islamic state. The problem is it is not. They are killing Christians, and Islamic.
If a Baptist group came out and said it was the Christian state, and began killing Muslims and Catholics and Episcopalians, and Mormons, Would it be a Christian state? He seems to understand this much better than you.
