I admit I'm a bit of a nerd at times. So with that little tidbit of info out of the way I'm flipping through channels last night and come across an episode of the history of water.
I live in a place that is graced with an abundance of water and just never really cared all that much about how serious of a problem clean drinkable fresh water really is in the world today. People in Mexico city the largest city in the world pay upto 1/3 of their incomes just to get their most basic need met just to survive.
That approx 2 billion people are severely water challenged. This is a real world problem that effects a massive amount of people and will only get worse as our population continues to grow.
We should be putting our intellectual and economic resources towards solving real world problems not some socialist, agenda 21 fabricated one.

It depends on what you choose to believe. I read articles such as this and I read articles that contradict it. It seems that for most people what they choose to believe depends on how they lean politically. I see claims that 90% of climate scientists agree with the global warming idea. Is that true ? Is this figure exaggerated or made up ? Are there more and stronger destructive weather events happening now ? Does man play a role ? If you forget about the global warming idea but and just on air pollution would it make sense to change our ways ? Is air pollution a lie ? Do smog clouds over large cities affect anything or are tree huggers whining about nothing ?
That's it? that is the best you can come up with? You lefties really need to quit throwing tantrums and show us your proof.

I live in a place that is graced with an abundance of water and just never really cared all that much about how serious of a problem clean drinkable fresh water really is in the world today. People in Mexico city the largest city in the world pay upto 1/3 of their incomes just to get their most basic need met just to survive.
That approx 2 billion people are severely water challenged. This is a real world problem that effects a massive amount of people and will only get worse as our population continues to grow.
We should be putting our intellectual and economic resources towards solving real world problems not some socialist, agenda 21 fabricated one.

Why don't we genetically engineer plants to use more CO2?
Why don't we figure out what to do with other waste streams such as heavy metals, petroleum compounds that don't exist in nature, but threaten people all over the world and our food chain?
And to your point, clean inexpensive sources of water?
The list goes on...doesn't it? Problems that are practical to address that are definitely man-made that we can get our arms around.

I choose to believe the facts:
The models don't work and clearly ignore other parameters.
The models have been engineered to tell them what they want to hear-don't you love confirmation bias. It's funny how science actually works, but only politicians believe they can change the physical laws of nature with an edict.

Oxygen is the second most abundant gas-of-life in the atmosphere at 21%. Water vapor is the third most abundant gas-of-life in the atmosphere; it varies up to 5%, It reduces incoming solar radiation by day and reduces surface cooling at night. Carbon dioxide is the least abundant gas in the atmosphere at 0.04%.
The assertion that 97% of scientists believe that climate change is man-made and an urgent problem is a fiction. In May Joseph Bast, president of The Heartland Institute, cited the Zimmerman/Doran survey in which, out of 3,146 respondents, only 79 listed climate science as an area of expertise. Hardly 97%. Surveys of meteorologists repeatedly find a majority oppose the alleged consensus, noted Bast.

The Environmental Protection Agencys absurd restrictions on CO2 emissions have forced the closure of many coal-fired plants that are needed to provide low cost electrical energy. The administration has long wanted to impose a carbon tax on all energy use in America, a punishing and needless expense.
The Obama administrations climate policies are entirely political in nature. It has announced that the EPAs process of setting new rules affecting power plants will be delayed until after the November 4 midterm elections. It is extending the public comment period until December 1. The growing discontent over similar climate and environmental policies was evident when leaders of the European Union announced it was moving away from green policies that had driven up the cost of electricity across the continent.
In a world threatened by the rise of radical Islamism, by the outbreak of diseases like Ebola, and other actual problems to be addressed, the notion that thousands would march in the belief that they and the entire rest of the Earths population have any effect on the climate is appalling.
What is perhaps most sad and most reprehensible are the host of world leaders who continue to maintain the lie of global warming or the misrepresentation of climate change to impose a tax on an essential element of the Earths atmosphere.

Those that don't believe in man made climate change are currently in the process of getting a reality check from their sales receipts at the grocery store.
I am with the president, the E.U., the U.N. and the Democratic party on this one, as well as the current environmentally responsible generation of the Rockefeller dynasty that started this whole fossil fuel nightmare, with all its Middle Eastern wars, and degradation of the environment.

You know, its kind of like trying to discuss creation "science" with a creation believer. Their "science" gets refuted and a few days later there is some other dude or dudette presenting the very same refuted "science". It goes on and on, so it becomes basically a waste. It's becoming the same with the global warming skeptics. I mean, its really no different. And when finally confronted with true science that they know dispels their beliefs, they go off on you and start saying you're the devils spawn, you're not saved, you haven't been given God's gift of understanding, that you've had some terrible experience that destroyed your faith, etc, etc. Of course with the global warming skeptics, they can only quote their conservative leaders who play politics with the subject.
