I suggest you take a ride to the boarder and ask permission to camp out on a ranchers property. Go down there with a couple Dr Peppers and a can of beans and spend a night or two. Tell us want you bump into besides a couple "diamond backs". If nothing else it's a great place to star gaze. "Space".
