Hating to have a black man in the White House is about as far from the truth as one can get, but then you lefties have never been partial to the truth. I supported Herman Cain in 2012, and made several contributions to his campaign, just like I would support Ben Carson, Jessie Watts, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, and many other conservative blacks. It's the Democrat Party that is the racist party, not the Republicans.

You lefties are too invested in Obama to change, that is why I don't tend to argue with you - it's a total waste of my time. You're so invested in Obama that you could care less that Obama is taking this country to a totalitarian style socialistic country. You could care less; that the real unemployment rate is in the double digits (I said REAL unemployment rate), that we have a stagnant GDP growth, that companies are going overseas to escape the second highest corporate tax rate in the world and high wages brought on by the unions, that companies are converting to part-time work forces thanks to you lefties passing Obamacare (before we got a chance to read it), that we will no longer be a military super power in the future thanks to Obama, and I could go on. No, you lefties are so invested in Obama that he could commit almost any crime, or totally destroy this country and our Constitution, and you would still support him, or make excuses for him.

It is not the President's fault if Congress totally ignores or blocks every issue he proposes. The Senate has passed Bills that beener will not even put before the House for a vote.
You are correct, the only thing I know about that industry is what I have seen in the news (mines collapsing, miners dying, etc) I also know that there are more efficient ways to get energy from the sun, wind and other natural sources...look at Niagra Falls and ConEd up in New York.
If the mining industry could find a safe way to get coal from the ground, if technology could make burning that coal less dangerous to the lungs, then maybe we could talk.
But you can't blame the President if Congress refuses to address the Jobs Bill that was requested years ago. Talk to beener about that one. You contention being miners whose families have lived for generations in the same towns and counties should pack up, move to an area where they know no one, have no other family, live on no money while they take training for green jobs and hope they get one. Hmm like all those employees of Solendra, right?

Of course, they could move to MD. Apparently that state is going to attempt to put windmills off of the beach. Of course, the people moving in for those "green jobs" are going to be a first priority over the current residents- NOT!

I blame the President's Dept. of Energy for being so inept they threw my tax dollars to companies who promised nothing in "green energy" they could produce. We have Solendra and the other solar panel company and an electric battery company. You may have money to toss away; however, I do not.

Oh, even though I voted Democrat, I was never one of you. I was never a liberal. I was what was called at the time a Scoop Jackson conservative Democrat. But, Carter did it for me - he was a disaster. Clinton was a pathological liar and a pervert. Obama is a radical socialist bordering on a Marxist. Carter has to be feeling good now though, because Obama is now the worst president in U.S. history.

The Democrat party used to stand for the working man, but they don't anymore. The radical left (socialists) of the party now controls the party. The rest of the low information Democrats still do not understand what their party now stands for. If they did, they would change parties too.
