Again I question how someone can agree with the Tea Party but oppose them with such vitriol. This tells me there is something present here that we do not see. Perhaps racism? Can I conclude you are black because I cannot find any intellectual validity in your argument.

I hope for your own well being that you tea baggers figure out how and why you people are being used the way you are by those who created their movement..

That is a stupid statement. I have debated with black people before and some of them are highly wise and intelligent. Some not so much. I have debated with everyone using the Greek philosophy of questioning.....Never have I stooped to the level of questioning one's upbringing. I disagree with him too, but stooping to that level is asinine we must argue on an honorable basis.

However, if it turns out that he is say Italian, then all bets are off because I am Italian also(this goes for all the Latin based groups French, Spanish, Mexican, etc) for we are of the same culture and there for I can call them stupid. But to use racism as an argument, what about the American Indians, at least they had reservations. hehe :D

Ranger I disagree. I have been involved in political debate for decades and when the positions are clearly inconsistent and irrational there is usually an underlying reason such as racial loyalty to Obama. Is your position that such racial loyalty does not exist?

My experience is that if the subject is educated by scholars not the education of school of hard knox, then the level of conversation is honorable. But only those who went through hard knox(and are still going through it because once you graduate from hard knox, you are able to debate like a scholar) tend to be stubborn and their thesis is all over the map with little information, and no evidence.

You didn't answer the question. Does racial loyalty exist and can it lead to incoherent positions and inconsistent defenses on issues?

That is questionable according to reason. Loyalty racially is somewhat of a myth to people who believe in the words all men are created equal. However, for those who do not believe in those words, it has come to my experience that loyalty is greater than reason, until new evidence comes to light, in the subjects mind.

This is growth of the human person and is also known as open mindedness, not that they do not still remain loyal to their race, but that they are enlightened to bring forth a new idea of how the integration of equality comes about. Therefore, for the ignorant or the naive yes the statement is true, for the learned or educated the statement is false. So it depends on the level of education one has, in both experience and wisdom from books.

For if the educated and the learned are shown the light, they tend to agree to the light as educated people do, and question what they were taught. If the evidence of what they were taught is proven untrue then they aggressively fight against that information. However, if it is proven true, they aggressively fight for it.

This is just an observation however.

Exactly and racial loyalty is not based on reason therefore when ones arguments are inconsistent and incoherent reason is not in play and some other underlying power is responsible such as racial loyalty. You are supporting what I posted so don't be so quick on the draw to call It an ignorant statement.

I just thought bringing race into it would rabbit trail off into a whole other argument, rather than the topic of Al Qaeda and Right Wing Gun Nuts. O. K.

I never said member. Yes there is evidence that the US moved arms from Libya to Syrian Rebels who were linked to Al Qaida and ISIS.

The Obama administration asked Congress on Thursday to authorize $500 million in direct U.S. military training and equipment for Syrian opposition fighters, a move that could significantly escalate U.S. involvement in Syria’s civil war.

There was also testimony from Benghazi that arms were being moved from Libya to Syria

That changes the rules. If what you are saying is true, then Obama should be immediately impeached or at the very least have his presidential powers suspended.
