I'm pretty sure at this stage that we're not talking about the same thing(s). My use of "ignorance" was in reference to myself, not you.

I submit that your remark is in dire need of either a semi-colon or a period.
Worried for our children wrote:
What you "submit", is not even in the realm of "fact". It is merely your opinion, based on your assumption of a single comment of mine.

Yes, you did make claims to (my)knowledge, or lack thereof, in the way you used the words "idiot" and "ignorance".

No matter, I was not offended and with experience you will improve, as I have stated, I have no doubt. Thank you for getting back to me young man, it's appreciated.

Not at all. I'm enjoying our exchange, but I have been slightly surprised given the typical vitriol I've been reading at this site.

There can be "vitriol"; however, there can be civility. Some of us have "hot button" issues which raise our ire. Worried, rumitoid and others try to lead us in civility.

And I commend them for doing so.

Your sentence about "those miscues being more ignorance the structural".

You mean to tell me that you were speaking of yourself ?

If so, then perhaps to avoid any confusion it would've been more appropriate to say "my" as opposed to "those".

I not only meant to tell you, I did tell you. Do you imagine that I was pandering?

This discussion has devolved beyond dull and trivial, less interesting than that cup of coffee, now cold and bitter.

This format is phenomenally tedious. Send me your email if you'd like to have a discussion about anything interesting. Your signature suggests that you probably have opinions that I'd disagree with, I enjoy debate, and I'm open to your point of view -- you have proven yourself worthy.

I never said he didn't graduate. I said he probably had help

This thread is supposed to be about Obama's (absense of) intelligence, right?

I won't dispute the idea that he may have been the beneficiary of Affirmative Action in his admission to Harvard Law; he may well have been. I will say this though: having attended a top 10 law school (not Harvard, BTW), I can state with certainty that one can simply not survive in that environment if not extraordinarily bright, let alone become editor of a Law Review.

Your remarks suggest you've probably not graduated college, if you've even attended at all -- obviously never law school -- and a substantial lack of understanding of those environments. That's not a condemnation, but maybe you should try it before you knock it.

My apologies for the misunderstanding then.

I agree with you in your assessment as to the turn this conversation has taken, there will be no need for an exchange of e-mails, I too enjoy a good debate, and if need be, it can take place right here on this forum.

P.S. nice try, but it is you who has proven himself worthy. Looking forward to reading you.

So you're a last word type; I can't say I didn't see that one coming. We live, we learn. Well, I do anyway.

Lol, I'm not one of those types in the slightest, just to show you, I'll leave the rest of the above comment alone.

I believe he was given racial preference. Until I see his undergraduate transcripts I will continue to believe it. Here are the requirements for Columbia.

a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5; for magna cum laude, a minimum of 3.67; for summa cum laude, a minimum of 3.9 is required.

These award winners are listed. Obama is not so we must assume his GPA was under 3.5. Less than 3.5 does not get you into Harvard Law School without help

I had heard that he had a boyfriend from Pakistan and he an his boyfriend traveled back and forth to the US bringing in drugs etc. His boyfriends parents rewarded OIllegal with a large gift to Harvard that helped the clown get into Harvard and on the Harvard law review. Basically it was a payback to OIllegal for being a friend to their son. I also believe that OILlegalis queer if you have any questions.

His roommate during his time at Columbia was a shady Pakistani character

That '57' states thing was not so much of a 'stupidity, but rather ' bragging. Just sort of taking and waving his dong in our faces. Saying 'I'm not even a US citizen, and yet I'm going to be your president.' so Ha Ha Ha.
