This morning, I have an introduction to my prayer: I take my coffee out on the back deck, look to the sky to see the Lord's lights that end the darkness of morning, and usher in the day. This morning there were only clouds, so I sat down and began to converse with Him. The air hung like a blanket, but as we talked I started to feel the air cool, ever so slightly, and that brought Elijah to mind. When he fled to Mt. Horeb, and God spoke to him 'in a small voice.' So often, we miss what God tries to tell us because of the clamor all around us. What a blessing, to just sit in the morning dark, and listen to distant thunder, and feel His presence in the elements of the day.

Please note, I personalize 'forgive me my sins,' because I believe that is a personal thing between each of us and our Lord.

PSALM 24

Heavenly Father, Dear Jesus send wisdom through the Holy Spirit that these words may be pleasing to You. Forgive me my sins, forgive the sins of this nation, and lift our heart and spirit to the blessings of this day. We come to offer up prayer and praise to You, in the name of our blessed Savior.


You, O Lord created the world and the inhabitants thereof. We are Yours, You know each of us by name, ours is a personal relationship. Bring a quiet into our life that we may get lost in Your presence, to feel You, to hear You, to know You. Let us appreciate being near You by showing love to one another.

Let us face our life honestly and repudiate all past transgressions that You would find unacceptable. Help us to truthfully examine our heart; purge our soul of sin and regenerate it to meet Your acceptance. Help us to attempt to be worthy of Your love.

Like a mighty warrior, You enter the city amid shouts of praise and acclaim. A tribute to Your sovereign stature. Enemies fall helpless before Your mighty hand, they have no defense. They melt into the landscape as Your procession marches through, there is no escaping Your presence. Hallelujah to the King!

We pray for Your display of strength for Israel, and ask for Your protection of Christians in harm's way. Please extend Your hand over America as well, and wherever Christians pray to You, we ask You offer Your love and presence.

You are the Creator, the eternal Ruler, and to You, and You alone do we bow our heads and pledge our love and fidelity. You and You alone, Lord, are the only one worthy. In humble adoration, we offer our prayers and praise to You.

This prayer is offered to You, Lord, in the name of Jesus, giving You all honor, praise, and glory. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus, Son of the Father, please be with the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force as we go to War with ISIS.

ISIS has killed your people, about 200,000 souls and we are being sent to avenge their lives. Use us as an instrument of your Grace, to rescue the innocent of the land, and punish the guilty. Guide us and show us miracles to reinforce our Faith in You.

We ask this in the name of God the Father Almighty, Jesus Christ your son, in the fellowship of the Holy Ghost, Amen.

Lord, You know how I feel about our fighting men and women. I think women in the field is a mistake, but I will put them in Your hands and trust You will give them the strength to maintain the rugged conditions, and the fortitude to keep up.

Another big concern, Obama has gotten rid of so many qualified, field wise generals that I have to ask You to come among them and show them the way. I ask that You send warrior angels to protect our military personnel, give them insight, and personal guidance.

Have the people rise up and INSIST that our fighting men and women are allowed an all out fight not some of these stupid Obama rules that favor the enemy.

Protect our people Lord, protect us. I ask in Jesus name, giving You all praise, honor and glory. Amen.

A mighty Amen. Too all who prayed for my friend. Thank you. He is home,against medical advice. He promised that if he gets worse he will go back in. Two shots of potassium and its still dangerously low. But,he is stepping out in faith. I hope the Lord sees it that way.lol. thank you for your prayers. He's not out of the woods. God can heal, He has the power and it is His hope for all to walk in health. Tell your friend to just keep thanking God for his healing. It is so hard to raise above reason and just accept you are healed, but tell him to work at it - believe, believe, believe and always say thank You, Lord. :thumbup: :thumbup:

My friend said bananas. Feed your friend bananas. I hope that helps but that's what she told me. I know she's coming in at the end of of the conversation, but every little bit helps....May God help you guys.

Bananas and orange juice both help. I had a seizure once, where I stopped breathing and they found my potassium was very low. I was 25 and have taken potassium through a prescription since then. My potassium still tests on the low side. I'll be praying for your friend.

PSALM 25

Heavenly Father, Dear Jesus enrich my mind and soul through the Holy Spirit that these words may express our need for You, and our trust in You. Forgive me my sins, forgive the sins of this nation, and lift our heart and spirit to the blessings of this day. We come to offer up prayer and praise to You, in the name of our blessed Savior.


Our soul is bare before You, Lord, have mercy on us. Bless us with the patience to wait upon You, to know Your timing is perfect. Help us to refrain from some feeble attempt to exert our will, when we are but a puff of air. Trust in the Lord, know that He hears our prayers and that He cares.

Open our heart and mind to sense Your presence, to follow the path You lay before us. Though we cannot see the way, You will guide each step safely, with great care. With Your righteous right hand You will gently lead the trusting heart. Let us keep our eyes upon You.

Let us bask in Your mercy, O Lord. Let us know the security of Your grace toward those who seek to do Thy will. You hover over us, as a mother bird protecting her chicks. Let us never take Your care for granted, but in prayer and praise let us continually be grateful.

Lord, in humble reverence, we plead with You for Your protection over Christians who are being massacred, who are being driven out because of their faith in You. These rabid murderers have their sights on Your beloved Israel. Lord, we ask that You stop them in their tracks, show them Your power, and forgive the inaction of America to assist Israel and all believers.

Lord, we ask that You hear our plea that America will rise up to come to the aid of those in need. We ask that You bless the generals to do what is right and necessary according to their training, and according to Your influence on their heart. Let not some idiosyncratic leader influence their knowledge and common sense.

Hear us, O Lord, we beseech You, in the name of Your son, our Savior Jesus. We give You all praise, honor, and glory Lord, thanking You in humble adoration. Amen.
