Then the libs come out and say the US has caused these terrorists to hate us. I disagree. It is obvious conservatives and liberals view cause and effect totally different. The following is hypothetical. George, a very liberal man lives in a nice middle class neighborhood with his wife and 11 year old daughter. When he comes home from work one day his wife stops him in the driveway and informs him the lady down the streets husband has come home from prison after 25 year sentence for raping a teenager. The mother is scared to death but George tells her to calm down the man has served his time. Later that year while George is mowing the lawn and his 11 year old is playing in the driveway George notices the x con standing in the road staring at his daughter. George waves and the man walks over and introduces himself as Mike. The guy leers at George and tells him he has a pretty little daughter and she should be careful cause she could get raped. George of course panics and asks Mike what he means. Mike tells him exactly how he would like to rape George's little girl. George backs up and says he is calling the police. Mike laughs and walks on home. The police tell George they will confront Mike, who says all he did was introduce himself to George and because George has a little girl he is a hater. The police inform George they talked to Mike and it's his word against George's and there is nothing they can do. George is scared. He believed Mike. He is thinking about moving but decides to talk to his friend from work. Mikes friend Bill is a die hard conservative so even though he seems like a nice guy Mike has always been a little Leary of Bill because of his radicle views on the 2nd amendment and politics in general. He tells Bill the situation. Bill asks, even though he knows the answer if George has a gun? George says of course not. Bill advises him to take the whole family to a range and learn how to shoot. The Mid East is a waste of time and money. They've been butchering each other in innovative and horrible ways for thousands of years. Whole regions have been depopulated and repopulated numerous times. Don't kid yourself. Nothing America does will discourage these maniacs. Even nuclear anihilation would only be a temporary solution. They've been anihilated before. Their whole lives are consumed with hatred and murder and it's been that way since Cain murdered Abel. The smartest thing America could do is concentrate its strategic interests here.

Big Mike, I very seldom disagree with your take on things but in this case unsure what you are specifically defining as our strategic interests. Would you elaborate on some of your thoughts? Actually nuclear annihilation every fifty years to me would seem adequate to control the demographics. For those of you that are going to be upset and think I am full of hate; not so. You want to seduce them with love and political correctness go ahead but just understand one thing. I would not feel this way if they would just leave us alone. Live and let live; know what I mean. However, realistically that's not going to happen so what are we to do?
