IN A US SUPREME COURT STUNNING 6 TO 3 DECISION JUSTICE ANTONIN SCALIA, writing for the majority, confirmed that the American grand jury is neither part of the judicial, executive nor legislative branches of government, but instead belongs to the people. It is in effect a fourth branch of government governed and
administered to directly by and on behalf of the American people, and its authority emanates from the Bill of Rights and has the power to enforce law and remove people from office. (See US Supreme
Court Decisions, Volume 504 pages 36 to 49 year 1992)

That which has ALWAYS made the United States a strong Nation has been those of us that have been and still are willing to serve and even sacrifice our very life if need be. Nothing has changed about those of us willing to do so.
OK!.I, am also "on it"! Thanks!
You ignorant phuck. I have presented the answer to you several times therefore, you prefer ignorance so you are stupid

easier "said" than done. I write my Congressmen, & Senators, "often" & only get "pre-formed" answers, that don't usually mean anything! [ michigan] Carl Levin, & Debbie Stabenow!....[ 2 very useless politicians]

So you live in a state where a senator may have a few million constituents he or she is accountable to, in addition to potentially millions of more Americans writing, emailing and calling on any given day.
There is simply way too much power consolidated at the federal level. Most of which constitutionally belongs to the states. These powers rights and responsibilities must be given back to the states to handle closer to the people these laws and regulations are effecting most.
The larger the fed gov grows the less influence the common man has.

Obama and congress cannot and will not work together except in the limited capacity.
So Obama is working with the real power in the government, the lobbyists. And many of them don't call themselves lobbyists anymore. So deals are made behind the scenes, and Obama will get more of his agenda through, and the whiners and complainers and the haters and marginally stupid pundits and commentators will cry.
But Obama will not be on the ballot, and by the time some figure it out, the lobbyists will have made a new policy.
And congress will sit, and sputter and yell, and start a new investigtion about a scandal they just thought up in committee.

This is NOT a "do nothing" Congress! They have worked tirelessly, to ensure a one term Obama! Wait, that didn't work. Oh, here's this. The job of Congress is to get re-elected and they HAVE worked tirelessly on that - and ONLY that, so there!
You are right about the job of getting re-elected.
They failed miserably on making Obama a one termer though

Well, they've screwed up everything they've worked on so far, so they can be excused. Remember, after the crash of 2008, they were in a frenzy to write new legislation to prevent a repeat - then immediately went about dismantling the whole thing. Why? Wall Street showed up with lots of dough and a list of OTHER donors, whose money they managed - and reminded them that another election was just around the corner.
Another thing this congress is good at; lining their own nest eggs - at the expense of ours.

They didn't even need new legislation, all they had to for was reinstate the Glass-Seagal Act that was repealed.
It was originally designed and implemented to keep the markets regulated.
Why it was repealed in the first place by Clinton, but w/ little static from EITHER party is the question there.
Mean while politicians got very rich and the economy crumbled under its own weight w/ in a decade.
It is amazing how these politicians are able to accumulate so much wealth while they are supposed to be a public servants.
[ THEM:].......Therein, lies the problem: Liberalism = Let the GBMNt, provide for me, from cradle to grave! Everything I get is an "entitlement"....."I deserve it", & I demand it, or I'll loot, rob, maim, & destroy, until the GBMNT gives in!
[ ME].......Conservatism: Let "ME" provide for myself, & my family, from cradle to grave,& let the GBMNT, provide national security, & aid in getting the economy to be at a self sustaining level! Let me live with my "own religion", & be an example to others fro personal responsibility, & decency!

You answered your own question with your very next statement. We KNOW they're not getting wealthy off of what they're paid while in office, which they like to remind us of come re-election time, but it's a secret ( yeah, right).
I took a class, years ago, on business finance. The Proff. suggested that there were only 4 ways to get wealthy; Be born to wealthy parents, become a Wall Street banker, Invent a " one of" and sell the company built around it, or become a politician. He said that only one of those required any real work and invited us to guess which one.
yeah...its as if this comes from the Democratic party's plan to destroy America and the way it has come to know how business is done...Harry doesn't do nothing with those 357 bills, many of which were from Dem. Representatives...
