It seems that some people must think that even though the broke into a home they still have police protection. These two are real dummies.

This guy is right. Warning shots are dangerous to the home owner.

I can't wait for some of the anti-gunnies to chime in. They don't think you have a right to protect your own life because they don't think guns should be in the house other than those that are locked up.

He should have had that thing in his hand when they came in.

Clearly the 23 year old did not follow the advise of our dear Vice-President - he should have not fired that shotgun in the house, he should have gone to the porch to fire it - what's the world coming to when young folks ignore the wisdom of our dear official buffoon?

I actually had a cop tell me that way back when I was still single and having a stalker issue. He told me. "Don't forget to hose off the porch, we wont ask why the porch is wet"

Theyda died in my house, Roy! Buckshot works well, though it tends to create collateral damage. Oh well - my home insurance pays for replacement or cleaning of bloody carpet and repair of a few holes in the wall . . .

I never have to worry about such legal issues. If someone breaks into my house, I just tell the police that I was cleaning my Katana, and the intruders fell on it.

Not to worry DHS says all we need is a good pair of scissors and a sturdy desk.
Being a woman I also have the pee my pants option open to me also. Don't be jealous Ed.

Personally I think warning shots are not so good. They really tear up a ceiling and cause more damage then they are worth. Besides, why wast bullets on a ceiling? I will not pull a gun on anyone that I do not fully intend to shoot, but if I feel that I must pull my gun, I will not fire warning shots. Unlike this man, I do not have a shot gun for home defense, but a 45 auto. I don't really want to take a chance of hitting a neighbor with a warning shot.

Home Invaders take notice for personal-family protection..
A few words to the Bad guys- GET OUT NOW...and then.....sometimes the results are Lethal, but this are the chances they take..

The same thing. You think because a person is "armed", they're dangerous? Those people are idiots. By the time they realize they're being attacked, they're looking at their own standing body - from the floor.
