'Where to start? First of all God either exists or doesn't, a person of faith would never believe anyone could remove God. Logic and reasoning are tantamount to progressive thinking, progressives for the most part strongly support scientific methods to solve problems while conservitives turn to superstition when science challenges their understanding of the world. Right wingers constantly dodge guilt, shame and responsibility and try to re write history to downplay past evil like slavery, segregation, racism, imperialism or the treatment of Native Americans. We are a nation of people from all over the world, a child raised in a hippie commune in California, Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn, farm in Iowa or Amish community in Ohio all enjoy normal traditional family values, perhaps not exactly yours but accepted and celebrated as normal by progressives. Most progressives live lives of joy, and understand that our nation and world is going to change, and dare I say it make progress! A good future lies in recognizing and lerning from past mistakes and courageously making changes for a better future, rather than cowardly clinging to an insular and flawed past. As far as righteousness, you are right you can keep your self righteousness, it is pretentious, unwelcome and a burden to our great nations future.

Amen. The fool has said in his heart there is no God. They only believe in science. what is that saying figures never lie but liars figure. Good luck with your science thingy I will stick with my Father God and Savior Lord Jesus Christ. And by the way many discoveries in the scientific field were discovered by Christians praying to God for answers that were then made known to them.
