PeterS is forever throwing down the gauntlet for anyone to punch a hole in the Neo Darwinian Theory of Evolution.
The world of science has supported this theory for decades, but of late there have been some prominent scientists who have defected from the ranks of Darwin believers. Others have actually kept their defection quiet, but their work actually leads to making ND an anachronism in the annals of science. Significant support has been given by many to seek a new formulation that accounts for the significant disparities of ND they recognize. One main disparity is for ND to account for how the information needed to create a living animal comes about without any precursor types from which to evolve.
The same question arises when decoding DNA: where did the info come from that encoded the DNA to begin with?
The latest trilogy of scientists, Stephen Meyer, Michael Behe, and John Lennox of Intelligent Design advocacy have mounted substantive arguments recently on You Tube that need to be answered to the effect that God exists, and He is the Creator of all things...and is not a "God of the Gaps". In effect the Christian view of God. Still, we have not seen a physical proof of the existence of God, so each side of the argument stands their ground.
