And you made no argument for lying about it.

You need to get off that pale horse and ride with those who ride with Jesus.

Roman Catholicism has really screwed you with its non-Biblical doctrines.

Catholicism is Not Biblical Christianity

Are Catholic beliefs and practices biblical?

The issue concerning any church and its practices should be “Is this biblical?” If a teaching is Biblical (taken in context), it should be embraced. If it is not, it should be rejected. God is more interested in whether a church is doing His will and obeying His Word than whether it can trace a line of succession back to Jesus’ apostles. Jesus was very concerned about abandoning the Word of God to follow the traditions of men (Mark 7:7). Traditions are not inherently invalid…there are some good and valuable traditions. Again, the issue must be whether a doctrine, practice, or tradition is Biblical. How then does the Roman Catholic Church compare with the teachings of the Word of God?

Salvation: The Roman Catholic Church teaches that salvation is by baptismal regeneration and is maintained through the Catholic sacraments unless a willful act of sin is committed that breaks the state of sanctifying grace. The Bible teaches that we are saved by grace which is received through simple faith (Ephesians 2:8-9), and that good works are the result of a change of the heart wrought in salvation (Ephesians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 5:17) and the fruit of that new life in Christ (John 15).

Assurance of salvation: The Roman Catholic Church teaches that salvation cannot be guaranteed or assured. 1 John 5:13 states that the letter of 1 John was written for the purpose of assuring believers of the CERTAINTY of their salvation.

Good Works: The Roman Catholic Church states that Christians are saved by meritorious works (beginning with baptism) and that salvation is maintained by good works (receiving the sacraments, confession of sin to a priest, etc.) The Bible states that Christians are saved by grace through faith, totally apart from works (Titus 3:5; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 3:10-11; Romans 3:19-24).

Baptism: In the New Testament baptism is ALWAYS practiced AFTER saving faith in Christ. Baptism is not the means of salvation; it is faith in the Gospel that saves (1 Corinthians 1:14-18; Romans 10:13-17). The Roman Catholic Church teaches baptismal regeneration of infants, a practice never found in Scripture. The only possible hint of infant baptism in the Bible that the Roman Catholic Church can point to is that the whole household of the Philippian jailer was baptized in Acts 16:33. However, the context nowhere mentions infants. Acts 16:31 declares that salvation is by faith. Paul spoke to all of the household in verse 32, and the whole household believed (verse 34). This passage only supports the baptism of those who have already believed, not of infants.

Prayer: The Roman Catholic Church teaches Catholics to not only pray to God, but also to petition Mary and the saints for their prayers. Contrary to this, we are taught in Scripture to only pray to God (Matthew 6:9; Luke 18:1-7).

Priesthood: The Roman Catholic Church teaches that there is a distinction between the clergy and the “lay people,” whereas the New Testament teaches the priesthood of all believers (1 Peter 2:9).

Sacraments: The Roman Catholic Church teaches that a believer is infused with grace upon reception of the sacraments. Such teaching is nowhere found in Scripture.

Confession: The Roman Catholic Church teaches that unless a believer is hindered, the only way to receive the forgiveness of sins is by confessing them to a priest. Contrary to this, Scripture teaches that confession of sins is to be made to God (1 John 1:9).

Mary: The Roman Catholic Church teaches, among other things, that Mary is the Queen of Heaven, a perpetual virgin, and the co-redemptress who ascended into heaven. In Scripture, she is portrayed as an obedient, believing servant of God, who became the mother of Jesus. None of the other attributes mentioned by the Roman Catholic Church have any basis in the Bible. The idea of Mary being the co-redemptress and another mediator between God and man is not only extra-biblical (found only outside of Scripture), but is also unbiblical (contrary to Scripture). Acts 4:12 declares that Jesus is the only redeemer. 1 Timothy 2:5 proclaims that Jesus is the only mediator between God and men.

Many other examples could be given. These issues alone clearly identify the Catholic Church as being unbiblical. Every Christian denomination has traditions and practices that are not explicitly based on Scripture. That is why Scripture must be the standard of Christian faith and practice. The Word of God is always true and reliable. The same cannot be said of church tradition. Our guideline is to be: “What does Scripture say?” (Romans 4:3; Galatians 4:30; Acts 17:11). 2 Timothy 3:16-17 declares, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

PULL QUOTE:

“ Christian Nationalism doesn’t reflect what Jesus taught and how he lived his life. The Bible’s overarching theme is God’s love for all of us – regardless of our skin color, political affiliation, economic status or gender identity. While I’m a Christian, I believe God’s love is extended to all people. The gospel (which means “good news”) is always a gift. It should never be used as a weapon.

What can we do? Each of us must think carefully about where our greatest allegiance lies. Matthew 22:22 quotes Jesus saying, “give to Caesar what is Ceasar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” We can be Christian and still be patriotic, which – simply stated – is love for one’s country. Nationalism is putting our highest allegiance to our country, especially its historically dominant ethnic, social, and cultural classes. Politics usurps what belongs only to our creator.

Between now and Nov. 5, Americans cannot be misled by self-serving politicians or Christian Nationalist clergy like most German Christians were. Christian Nationalism flagrantly distorts Christianity and purposely puts down people of color, disabled, LGBTQIA . . . just like Hitler did.”

There are many things I can't agree with your statements blade, saying that Catholic faith is wrong.

I am not saying that you are wrong. Because I respect all those whose manner of worship in God differ from mine. We have the same God, the same faith, and the same love for God.

I am not defending TJKMO, however. Because there are things, he is saying that I don't agree. But he is a human being trying to worship God in his own ways. Let God decide for that. In the Catholic Church, being gay is accepted, however, it is the practice that are not allowed.

I think it is better for you to debate with the Bishops blade, who studied Biblical history for 15 or more years, rather than TJ.

My knowledge of the Bible is a lot lesser than yours. But I had miracles that happened to me. I grew up kneeling and praying, and obeying God. Though I sin and make mistakes. God is a loving and forgiving God.

Do you think that because I am a Catholic I go to hell? Let the Lord God judge that. I was molded and grew up with that Catholic faith since 3 years old. Now I am old, but I think God loves me as well. And I love him so much. Morning and evening I pray. I also love my neighbors. As Jesus said, love thy neighbor as thyself. Not only the next-door neighbor, but this love covers all over, and worldwide.

About the Virgin Mary.
And when Jesus was presented at the Temple.
Simeon's prophesy to Mary:
Yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed”, Luke 2:34-35.

Miracles happened a number of times worldwide. Verified and proven scientifically. How did they explain? It is the work of God.

If Catholic faith is wrong, why did miracle happen to me? I am not superstitious, never was, except my faith in God is strong.

Many other miracles happen as well worldwide. And well proven.

The Virgin mother of God, is honored. She is the greatest advocate to Jesus. The last words of Jesus when dying on the Cross.
Woman, behold your son. And to the Disciples. Behold your mother. John 19:26-27.

And when Jesus was taken from the Cross, He was laid on His mother's arms. Then the dead, pierced, blood-spattered body of Jesus is taken down from the cross and Joseph lays him in his mother's arms. She thinks of the times she held him in her arms as a baby.
(Note Joseph was the one who asked Pontious Pilate for the body of Jesus.)

At last, she allows tears to stream down her face; her only consolation, his suffering is over. She is the mother who bear so much pains suffered by her son.

When Jesus gathered his Disciples:
Jesus asked, "Who do you say that I am? "Others said Elijah.

Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven."

Jesus said," you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my Church." Matthew 16:18

"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 16:19

The Last Supper. Jesus gathered among his Disciples.

Luke 22:19-20; Matthew 26:26-28.
19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. Do this in remembrance of me. "

1 Corinthians 11:23-26
For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

Catholics celebrate the Holy Communion every Mass. This is the summit of the Catholic faith. It is the Blessed Sacrament Most Holy and Divine
The Sacraments are defined as outward signs of inward grace, instituted by Christ to help individuals in their spiritual life and to grow in holiness. Sacraments are mysteries; they are signs of the sacred presence of our God in our midst today.

The Church is where God present. When 2 or more are gathered in my name, I am in your midst. Matthew 18:20

We pray, we sing, we glorify him, we love him, and honor him.
And thank God for his glorious and wonderful deeds for all of mankind.

Point by point argument, I think blade, it would be interesting if you debate with our Bishops who knows more about the Bible and the Catholic faith. They studied that for many years.
That would be interesting to listen.

Goodnight, and please have a good evening! This old woman is now tired.

The believer has the gift of faith given by the Holy Spirit to exercise belief in the "Righteousness of Christ Alone according to the Scriptures. This means that God puts Christ's Righteousness to the account in eternity. It is not "infused" into the believer in this temporary life. Humanistic philosophy deceitfully uses the Gospel to "beef up" the false notion that we are good enough to save ourselves and then proceed to react to others with a lot of "gas lighting" about how we are like Jesus because we don't do such and such a sin like "Christian Nationalism." I hope this person who hates "Christian Nationalists" becomes a Christian and repents of his arrogance.

Continuation, please let me explain further about the Catholic Church.
About confession
James 5:16 clearly says, “Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.” God assures us that while our relationship with him is personal, it’s not private. Because we’re a body, what we do in our personal lives affects our brothers and sisters in Christ. Knit together by the Holy Spirit, how we live affects the rest of the body. How, then, can we speak the truth to one another “in love” and “not lie to one another” if we don’t speak honestly about our sins (Eph. 4:25; Col. 3:9)
-------------------
Why confess to a Priest. A Priest is closer to God because he is a representative of God. His vocation is all about serving God, and therefore could help us pray ask forgiveness for sins of people specially the grave ones. Especially mortal sins.
What is a mortal sin? Then they help and encourage us to do better, through penance and redemption.
A sin is considered to be "mortal" when its quality is such that it leads to a separation of that person from God's saving grace.

Salvation: Catholic Church requires different stages of being a Catholic. Catholic Church requires 3 stages to be fully Catholic.
1. Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist.

The 7 Sacraments of the Catholic Church.
Baptism.
Eucharist.
Confirmation.
Reconciliation.
Anointing of the sick.
Marriage.
Holy orders.

Though I believe that those people who don't even know how to read and write, as long as they love God and love others, I they are saved.

Here is why 7 Sacraments don't apply to all.
Matthew 5:3–12

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Love is the most important factor for seeking salvation. Not only about the 7 Sacraments. That Sacrament helps, but not the ultimate decision to receive God's salvation.

Good Works
Good works to seeking salvation is not only loving God.
Jesus commanded us to love God with all out hearts, with our soul, with all our mind, with all our strength. The next one is loving thy neighbor as thyself.
By loving thy neighbor as we love ourselves. Help the sick, feed the hungry, and extend all possible means to help them alleviate their sufferings.

Christian Evangelical Church of Billy Graham does this. And I appreciate that mission. Catholics do send Priests worldwide to help and serve the poorest of the poor. Some of them were killed by Muslims, Boko Haram in Africa.

About Baptism
Why Catholic Church Baptize infants.
Baptism Is Necessary for Salvation. While Baptism was instituted by Christ at His own Baptism. Baptism Makes Your Baby A Child of God.
Baptism Removes Original Sin from the Souls of parents.
Baptism Enriches Us with Many Goods and Blessings. ...
The Church Requires Parents to Baptize Their Children.

(Mark 10:14). In the Gospel Jesus instructs us to go forth and baptize the whole world – not just adults. St. Paul baptized whole families and it is most likely there was at least one child in those families.

Prayers

Catholics don't pray to Saints. Like the Virgin Mother, St. Paul or other Saints. We pray to God alone. We seek intercession from Saints who are close to God. Like St Francis of Assisi who thought us a very powerful prayer.

Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope.
where there is darkness, light.
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
And it is in dying we are born to eternal life!

Prayer to Saints. It is for Intercession. We don't pray to saints but to God alone. Though we honor and respect saints for their closeness to God.

I pray for my loved ones most of the time. I even pray for President Trump that he wins this 2024 election. We must pray for one another. I think God likes that.

And I think anybody who loves God whatever faith they belong, are all God's children. Though we differ when we worship God.

Thank you blade, for your wisdom and knowledge. God loves you, and so do I, love all of you! Thank you for allowing me to participate in this delicate matter.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope.
where there is darkness, light.
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.

Trump said he has nothing to be sorry for according to Christian tradition.

I'm not talking about Trump Mr I can't answer so I'll deflect. I'm talking about YOU and the fact that you can't admit that YOU are a sinner in need of a savior.
