You really need to check your stats. The biggest killer of kids is still cars, and with the advent of texting that has only increased the deaths. Further, you need to get a better definition of kids. Only people under the age of 18 qualify as kids, now you need to separate out the deaths that are crime related (gangs), then you need to cull out all of the deaths that are when a "kid" is shot by police or someone defending themselves again crime related.
