Don't think any nation is free from it..

You are definitely correct. The song line from 'South Pacific', "You've go to be taught to hate..." certainly is true. I once was in a discussion with a friend who made the comment that racial hate is only a thing we use to make ourselves feel superior to others. When I was growing up in the small community where I went to high school in there was definitely a pecking order. It does not only touch race but also social standing. People who have been in an area are better than new comers. So length of stay and ancestors are also in play. Especially where I now live. We are lucky that my wife's family came in 1861 with the first settlers so we do sometimes play that card.
The only way to remove racist acts is to allow no one to grow to more than five years of age. Of course that would also doom the human race so it is not practical.

Don't worry, the whole campus protests for Palestinian rights will go away in less than a month. Unfortunately, they will still be starving.

They have been sent enough aid to feed twice their number. They can thank the terrorists that THEY elected for stealing their food.

Are undocumented Jewish immigrants called illegal aliens? Are these "illegals" still a threat to Americans?

I would really like to believe we have become more civil. However I don't know of a time period where name calling violence and much worse hasn't happened. Take a good look around just here on OPP. How do we treat one another? I wonder if we will ever change ... personally I don't think so. There are exceptions, but not often enough. All we can do is try our best and ask for forgiveness when possible.

Personally I never knew a Jew until I was in my early 20s and found I was working for one. He invited me to town to teach me how to shoot skeet, (it was my first shot gun). I had a very high regard for the man. How he payed had nothing to do with the office or off time when we went to the trap range.
