"Prosecutors for the State of New York in their opening statement drew a direct line between the October 2016 “Access Hollywood” leaked audio and Donald Trump’s alleged “hush money” payoff to two women, including the adult film actress Stormy Daniels, telling the jury it was “election fraud, pure and simple.”

Legal experts are dissecting the prosecution’s opening argument. Professor of law, MSNBC contributor and former FBI General Counsel Andrew Weissmann summed it up, saying New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg “squarely places the NY criminal trial in the election interference/corruption bucket– exactly what the DC and GA indictments allege, just 4 years later.”

“And the NY alleged ‘cover up’ is reminiscent of the two MAL [Mar-a-Lago] alleged obstruction schemes post-presidency, to keep prosecutors from uncovering evidence of that scheme,” Weissmann added.

Prosecutor Matthew Colangelo late Monday morning in his 45-minute opening argument told jurors, “This case is about criminal conspiracy and a cover up,” according to MSNBC’s Joyce Vance."

Myself: Nothing in this is "weaponizing" the judicial system in spite of the numerous false claims of such seen in this forum and in the conservative media. It is simply a straightforward approach to a criminal complaint, nothing more, nothing less. America is founded on the principal of "No Man is Above the Law." When a man, such as trump, sets himself above the law, which is how he has run his businesses most of his life, he is deliberately behaving in an un-American way.

Sorry, but the FBI provided the truth, and I previously posted the entire story of how Russia fed lies about Biden to the GOP in support of impeachment of Biden. Apparently, the impeachment effort fell apart due to a lack of verified evidence, after it was proven to be false information delivered by a Russian known to the FBI. NOT A LIE. FACT. FBI CERTIFIED. Agent admitted the information about Biden taking money from the Ukraine power company was false. It appear you may not be up to date on actual facts.

Ok - you stating that you believe in government laws as the Democrats you support have broken our immigration laws and have allowed millions of unvetted illegals into this country - your respect for integrity as you support the Democrats who allowed the homosexual fiasco on the White House lawn in front of children - Your belief that everyone should be treated equal as you support the Democrats who ignored our own homeless and housed illegals instead of them and many being homeless VETS!!!
