I find the newcomers lacking. I know people hate the reference I remember when.; however, I remember when OPP started everyone posted topics using a news link. None of this personal opinion as a topic. Yes, the article choice was based on their political beliefs; however, it was a real topic. I, also, remember every month there was some type of virtual online party over on Chit Chat. When you walked through the party door, no politics came with you. It was pure unadulterated frivolity. One of the longest threads was Watching Paint Dry. We have had a toad school, toad wedding and other totally ridiculous fun. No matter how often I attempt to revive it, it is a waste of my time.

Thus endth my whining.
You do realize in our book you are a newcomer! br... (show quote)

Auntie, though my views are across the board on just about everything/ I try to be polite and usually get marginalized by those one view topic supporters and that just leaves you to jabbing the bee hive-still lots of fun 😃

My wife tends to be an insomniac. I tell her to work harder during the day so she will be tired and sleep better at night.
I have regretted that statement and will never say that again!!!!!

I took one of those political leaning quizzes. I was pretty equal across three spectrums.

I do understand saying work harder. For most people, that would work. Unfortunately, for a group of us, it completely ramps up our system making it harder to sleep. Then you add trying to sleep, cannot and here comes another keep you awake thing. Melatonin use to help; however, am now immune to it.

I must find the joke about the retired man offering his wife advice on how to accomplish her chores.

The vast majority of our country including unsaved believers have rejected God, His son Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Bible. That explains in a nutshell the reason why our country is where it is.

Exactly right! When prayer was taken out of schools, the downfall started. Secular humanism is rampant.

I managed ten hours last night. Not quite a catch up; however, better than zero.

As the subject of spouses has been up. Do you have any idea how frustrating (plus wanting to cause physical damage) it is when UncleE lays down and says I’m going to sleep, now. and is sound asleep in about five minutes?

Little known fact ….We have a micro switch in our butt that turns us off when we lay down.

It appears there is going to be a reckoning in the United States.
There is so much immorality and lt seems as though half the country could care less.
What do you think?

I think we are fighting communist within the United States whose elites lie to us incessantly, lusting for power:

Watch this new video on a world calamity of mass extinction of life 250 million years ago, concluding our current burning of fossil fuels will induce the same event:

The Volcanic Eruption That Wiped Out 95% Of Life On Earth | Catastrophe [in northeastern Siberia 250 million years ago]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZsz39REQ2Q

First, the most massive volcano on earth erupted releasing sulfur-dioxide creating global cooling, then more gases of carbon dioxide were released creating global warming and droughts exacerbating animal extinction, then its warming of the oceans released the frozen methane gases on the ocean floor and killed all the sea animals.

The video's conclusion was that human burning of fossil fuels would have the same effect as this monstrous volcano and make all life extinct, when in reality, our human activity is equivalent to peach-fuzz.

First of all, it takes 250 million years for our Solar System to make a round trip around the Milky Way Galaxy, so we are in the exact same spot as the previous volcanism 250 million years ago. Just how much dark matter in the Galaxy is messing with our plate tectonics? We already have over a 100 active volcanoes in the Pacific Rim, where Kim Jung Un has been testing his atom bombs under Mt. Changbai's super volcano which is burping atomic gases over North Korea and Manchuria. Iran is testing bombs 700 feet below the mountains amidst an enormous fault line that heads west to the Thera volcano north of Crete. This stupidity could trigger a great deal of volcanic havoc on the planet, not gassing up your old Chevy truck.

Biden and the Bilderberg Group are pushing the UN's New World Order Agenda 2030 in hopes of killing 3/4ths the world's population by inducing a bottleneck of evolution through energy shortage, starvation and endless wars fighting over the last scraps, "Road Warriors" on steroids.

Our youth is totally uneducated in math, science and geography, mostly stoned on marijuana. Drug addicts make good slaves. They are irrational. These drugs are killing our children and our country. Should senior citizens act as voluntary tutors for these lost kids?

You could be low on Vitamin B12. Eggs and meat are a good source. I used to suffer insomnia for years on end.

My trick is to take one full teaspoon of instant coffee plus 2 heaping tablespoons of hot chocolate and 1/4 cup of powdered milk, add 2 cups of water, boil and let cool just before bed; this will knock you socks off and let you get a good night's sleep. Life is good.
