Sometimes discord is important. If it's the truth then those who believe in lies are only hurt by believing the lie. So, if you discount someone's words simply because you think they are a troll then if what they say is the truth you just discounted yourself!

Lastly, look at the House. We have a House that is going to pass a bill to give military aid to struggling Democracies throughout the world. We are the leading the leading Democracy in the world. If we don't support those who are struggling then who's going to do it? So I find it encouraging that the House is going to join the Senate and support a bill that aids Democracy which is a defining characteristic of our country and therefore part of our national Common Good.

And I didn't think much of Mike Johnson when he was first appointed but that he is willing to put his job on the line when an important piece of legislation comes along; well that's something we should want all of our representatives to do. So why are we supporting those who don't?

So we have a House and Senate far more interested in the border security of Israel and Ukraine than in our own. Johnson has proven himself a RINO in the grand tradition of Paul Ryan, one of the most detestable of that ilk. You apparently approve of a Congress that will throw billions of unaccounted for dollars at Ukraine but sit on their hands when it comes to our own border security. You prate about "struggling Democracies" when you seem to have no idea what a Democracy is. (Hint: It's not what the Left-Wing Leg Humpers have convinced you.) You have no problem that a large chunk of the billions of dollars we have sent Ukraine is MIA. Maybe if they could tell us what they did with the last few billion, we might be more open to giving them more. Meanwhile, our own border is a sieve, Wetbacks are treated by the VA at the expense of American Veterans, and people like you who never served couldn't care less. Looney Tune Leftists are apparently triggered and made to feel "marginalized" without the comforting weight of a government boot on their necks.

Biden’s doing so poorly his party felt the need to call Obama in to support him - just not up to the task of doing it alone.??

Agree.

Americans need more of our tax dollars being used for American citizens/priorities, not these other nations wars and border disputes. Without funds the Ukrainian/Russian war would have most likely ended already.

Linda I do believe this post may have been one of the most selfish post on OPP. I can’t help but wonder if you lived in Ukraine what your thoughts would be. If the US and NATO had not supported Ukraine who would you think would be next?

I like to fact check the far right that is using some sketchy news sources. There are some sites that do this: fact check, Media Bias, allSides, Biasly and PolitiFact. A lot of the far right do not believe in the truth, but these sites were developed to debunk lies.

PigW, back to your "fact checker" BS again, I see..... If you aren't smart enough to determine if something is true and believable, then that exposures your low intelligence level. My advice is learn to think for yourself or crawl back under your rock and let truly intelligent people debate ideas.

If people would only take the time to do a search on ‘Who’s checking the fact checkers?’ They would learn that the majority of them are liberals/leftists, their sites mostly funded by liberals/leftists too, along with their ‘calls’ being made by those who hold very liberal opinions.

I would advise potential voters to believe them using much caution.

If NATO and the US had not broken their previous promises about West expansion, this would not be an issue.

Agree, especially with his unAmerican polities he’s put in place. (Open borders, huge numbers of his illegals (mostly unvetted) etc etc etc. plus his outrageous spending and taxation galore.

These socialists along with the cultural Marxists do not have Americas best interests at heart. Biden’s path has him polling so low in most areas, the left has had to pull in their big gun (0bama - their big gun who promised he/Biden would “fundamentally transform” America.)

Well thank you so much for your compliment.

America ‘isn’t the world’s police.’ People on both sides are dying, being murdered. It’s {war} and with Biden deciding to side with the previously well known corrupt Ukrainian government. Biden made this choice.

Welcome to the site. Hope you you can make some worthwhile addition to the conversations. Unfortunately you are are correct, there are a number of posters that are singing a one-note song, and they often do that off-key. I have been known to reply to them, not that I expect them to listen, but in an effort to point out to others just how incongruent their posts are. Anyway. again, welcome, glad to have you aboard.
