One thing that she’s trying to do is make her topic rating go up. She thinks it means she’s “popular” and that “people like her”, when all it means is that she gets a lot of responses from the people she has offended and are outraged enough to bother to respond to her hateful remarks.
It’s a shame she has to live in such a dark place that the only attention she gets is the negative kind she gets from enraging people all the time.
And all we are doing when we respond to her is giving her the satisfaction that she has duped us into responding to her once again, which makes what she calls “her high rating” go up.
What she is really doing is duping herself into believing she is superior to everyone - when what people see is a raving lunatic.
Further…Admin LIKES it because it makes his numbers look better. The more comments people make on the site, the “busier” his forum looks.

We are being played! She wants the responses so her "ranking" will go up.

I agree with you: ignoring is the only way to deal with someone like this. The problem is - that won't happen because people have feelings, and she plays on those feelings with outrageous, 💩-disturbing comments. It's a form of internet troll, but with personal ramifications. She, herself, "feels better" when she puts others down....and the more caustic her comments are, the more reaction she gets....win/win for her!
