Joseph McCarthy investigated the extent of communist penetration of the American government. Extreme left-wingers and outright communists had been shepherded into The Franklin D. Roosevelt administration throughout his twelve-year presidency. Joseph Stalin had wanted them in the administration to influence decisions and as sources of information. It wasn’t hysteria. There were communists.

During World War II, it had become clear that there were many Nazi sympathizers in the United States. There was concern that the same mistakes not happen again with the new Satan, communism. McCarthy became a point man for the new efforts. The American Left, realizing that the communists were fellow ideologues in the movement to replace the worship of God with the worship of government, defended them and started the anti-McCarthy hysteria, just like what is going on today, with Donald J Trump.

In retrospect, it was kind of odd anyway. On the one hand, American progressives would say there’s nothing wrong with being a communist then rail at being called one or if one of their own was. William F. Buckley, Jr. once remarked that he never heard McCarthy say anything that matched in viciousness the things that liberals said about him. I have never heard of Trump saying anything that matched in viciousness the things his opponents say about him.

Rush Limbaugh was another example. The Left always thought that satire was its sole province. They relished subjecting religion and conservatives to their satire that was often mean & sacrilegious. Rush turned it around on them & they howled in furious indignation. They accused him of the hate that they harbored, something the Left has always done. How dare anyone use their methods against them? Rush was never mean nor vicious but the liberals certainly were and as Buckley had said about McCarthy, Limbaugh never said anything that matched in viciousness the things that were said about him.

Bill Raspberry was a great liberal (in every sense of the word) columnist. He’d been saying the same things about Rush as other liberals when someone challenged him as to whether he ever had listened to him. He admitted that he hadn’t, and to his credit, he did. In a subsequent column he said that Rush didn’t satirize women and minorities; that he was an entertainer and that he satirized liberals. Then as now, liberals can give it but they can’t take it.

And now we have the case of Donald J. Trump. Whereas Ronald Reagan also espoused conservatism, he nevertheless believed in making nice with liberals. They did not care. They were constantly hostile to him & did everything they could to block his moves. The take home lesson is that you don’t make nice with liberals. Liberals do not reciprocate. Their agenda to direct society remains and anything is permissible to achieve that goal.

Donald J. Trump must have gotten that message somewhere along the line. He never even tried to get along with them. They are outraged. Hell hath no fury like a liberal scorned and they’ve reacted. They tried to impeach him twice, once meaninglessly and was a complete waste of time.

They have now unleashed a barrage of legal actions against him without precedent & unjustified. What they don’t realize is that it can be turned around and used against their own, such as Joe Biden. These new precedents, if left unchecked, will likely result in permanent damage to the office of the presidency that will resonate to the detriment of the country & possibly lead to its destruction. It is that serious.

Understand, that the thought that we will eventually face judgment is a brake on our worst impulses. We know that we will be called to answer for our sins. By thinking there is no God, liberals get off that hook in their minds. Whatever system they foist on the public, they can just walk away and think there are no repercussions.

And that is what leads to their excesses. Communism, Fascism & German National Socialism are ultimate progressivisms and all were & are atheistic. As Mussolini said, “All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state,” and that included churches. Gulags, Killing Fields, Auschwitz and the Cultural Revolution all targeted religion and churches. It is no accident that church attendance is much lower among progressives.

They can conceive of no power in the universe that is beyond their comprehension. They have no God but themselves; they are their own judges, juries and executioners and they have executed; 21 million under National Socialists Workers’ Germany, 20-40 million in the USSR, 65-75 million in China, 1.5 million in Cambodia. They were all atheistic, either officially or functionally.

And so it continues. Liberals have been the driving force in moving America to secularism, a very dangerous journey.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was the most prominent Soviet dissident. He’d published several books with the horrors of Soviet Socialism as a background but when he published The Gulag Archipelago in December 1973, he was stripped of his Soviet citizenship and forced into exile. It the emergence and horrors of the Soviet political prison system. He first went to Germany but came to the United States, Vermont, in 1978. Under Josip Stalin, he would likely have been executed but the Soviet government of the 1970s didn’t chance it. They knew it would cause an international uproar.

After the Soviet Union collapsed, Solzhenitsyn returned to Russia in May 1994, and said that he could not recommend American society because we had lost our spirituality. John Paul II said much the same thing. So do I.

Christianity has been our salve. Secular liberalism, whether fascism, socialism or communism, needs the populace to replace Christianity with the worship of government. They need to destroy it. They are succeeding.[/

The massive penetrations of Liberalism and Progressivism has almost taken over. Primarily targeted the most powerful country in the world, the United States. Temporally, I think we are now partially under their control.

The wars between good and evil never ends. Since the Founding of this nation, and throughout world wars, we have been fighting Satan versus the power of our mighty Lord God.

That is where we are now. The tyrannic power of Marxist-Democrats through Biden and Barack, versus the Conservative righteous lead by Donald Trump. Trump invested his life, comforts, and wealth to take back this country for God, and His people. We will be back!

Liberals want the government to be our God, that has all the powers in their control. But where do they get that power? By enslaving the people to produce for them.

In addition, most of our MSM's seem to imitate that McCarthyism, trying to publicize lies and events that have no truths, but to destroy their political opponents.

In contrast to William Buckly, Jr., he wrote articles on magazines that stimulated conservatism in the United States. Buckly had written instruments that emphasized that we are under the power of God.

And thus, how Liberalism and Conservativism emerged its significant contrast how to conduct people's life.

God's power will prevail. Jesus said," I will build this temple in 3 days." John 2:19. Yes, he did and triumphantly ascended into heaven. Under Him, we will prevail!

As far as I am concerned, we are simply whistling in the dark. Nothing we say here amounts to any positive action.
We need guidance from God, and a leader that can see things through. This call may well be to arms, to arms, the liberals are coming! We must force the liberals back into their cages, the Muslims back to Islamic states, and the army of illegals back to their homelands, all by force if necessary. To use such force, we need our own army and powerful leadership. So far, I do not see this happening. Not that I should, you know, but we need a sign from someone that we are going to see action sooner or later.

I’m not sure what to say after all this. I did just read a book called,” Unbelievers” a history of doubt. We always think that whatever is going on now is unique and different, but it isn’t . This doubt or fear that people have about religion and God has been going on since at least 1260 AD. All sorts of famous figures like Sir Walter Raleigh were very anti God and religion. For all those millennia since there have always been people willing to fight what they see as a religious takeover from secular society. Just reading that book made me realize that we swing a pendulum about religion and right now it has swung soundly in one direction. After living in this world for 80 years, I can promise it will swing back.

I think it is troubling and sad that the Christian religion is having a tough time now. I think the trouble has spiked because people think of Jesus as the most important human in the history of the world. Many people follow strictly the ideas he told us to live by. Welcoming the stranger, feeding the poor etc. Some how mega religion in our country with the massive churches, the politicizing of religion is particularly obnoxious as we have been seperated from God by this political nonsense. And it is nonsense. Actually comparing Trump to Jesus as some people do, is revolting. Trump for whatever you think, is just a man, like the rest of us. I will not worship Donald Trump but if you do, that’s up to you.I just will not worship A man like that. There are too many things that are off.

I have to say, winding Trump up with the Christian Church in America is a good way to lose both Trump and the church. Something’s are not meant to be together. He is not a religious person, he apparently does not follow any of Christs ideas about caring for others, he is cruel to women and he treated his wife horribly unless you think his marital behavior is appropriate. I don’t. These are the things that liberals think. It would seem that you think all democrats are lining up to ruin the church in America, they aren’t many, many democrats are religious. Many of us are Catholic , so I don’t think that part is right. Do you know any democrats? If so you could check out what they think. It’s a lot like if I told you Kamala Harris is essential for the functioning of the church in America. That’s silly, I wouldn’t say that but you get the point.
I do think you are right that liberals get all wound up about Limbaugh, Hannity, Carlson and so forth. That is unnecessary. I could never understand why liberals didn’t get that straight. Those people are entertainers. They were there to upset and anger people but they weren’t so awful, just working for ratings. Rush, whom we knew slightly said that he didn’t mean half the stuff he said. I think a good barometer for all this will be to see how the GOP does in FL. It seems there is a revolt there against DeSantis’s draconian laws. I just wish we could all calm down. I’ve decided not to listen anymore. I just really don’t want or need to hear all the latest, it’s to gross and terribly tacky.

Afraid I have to agree with you. I just wish people would wake up, and see how bad it has gotten. Biden is not
going to do anything but dig us in a bigger hole. Trump is our better bet, but he can only do so much, and I don’t know his heart. Has he really repented, and given his heart to Jesus, or just playing games, I hope not, he is our best bet, though. The Bible tells us what will happen in the end of days, and we are truly there. Evil being called good, and good called evil. Nations against each other, ethnic groups against each other, wars, and rumors of wars,
Earthquakes, etc. We do need guidance from God, we can’t do this without him.

Let me say this about that. It is profoundly wrong for you to make any assessment about Trump and his relationship with God. You leave no room for redemption. It would be just as profoundly wrong for me to say Peter and Kevyn are damned and heaven is barred to them because today they are both atheist.

If you're seriously concerned about The Church, The Body of Christ, it is the intended and purposeful agenda of the Democrat Left to compromise the faith and to replace sacred religion with social religion and they are being wildly successful in confusing folks between right & wrong, good and evil.
