It's not easy to step away from such a community as this especially at a time when the very fabric of our Republic seems to be under unprecedented strain. Yet, it is the path I find myself on, and I must tread it with resolve, carrying with me the wisdom and insights I've gained from you all.
Before I go, allow me to leave you with a piece of counsel that I hold dear. In the coming months, our convictions, our beliefs, and the very essence of our democracy will be tested in ways we've never seen. A barrage of deception, the likes of which modern America has yet to witness, will seek to divide us, to blur the lines between truth and falsehood, right and wrong. In these times, it is imperative that we stand firm in our convictions, not swayed by the tumult of the times but guided by the principles that bind us to the cause of liberty and justice for all.
