She is the stupidest press secretary in my life time. Couldn't support Joe's lie about inflation and now this.

These people beat all. They are like an only child who goes to their daddy with a crayon in their hand and and says somebody wrote on my wall.
Plum pitiful.

XXX, Again I have to disagree with you. First of all, we are the number one producer of oil in the world, and there probably is no immediate need to refill Americas oil reserve. More importantly, the emphasis on energy must be transformed to a policy of replacing petroleum production with renewable energy such as solar, wind, and maybe even nuclear energy if we can make it safe.

Yes, why don't you hustle down to the store and buy your "climate credits" don't forget your booster shot while you're at it.

Who cares if we are the number one producer? Point being, we could produce a whole bunch more because the demand is there. You greenies are idio*'s. Solar, wind, all have just as devastating environmental impacts as fossil fuels. You just repeat the climate B.S. which is all about control and money.
Filling the reserves now would cost a fortune, simply because we have economic imbeciles leading this administration.

Yea and I still don't get it. Salty said there's no reason to fill it because we don't need it. Heck how will you fill it once you need it? So stupid!

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/us-refilling-strategic-oil-reserves-032524022.html

The US is refilling strategic oil reserves as fast as it can amid lower prices, but there are physical limits, Energy Department official says

"We are refilling as much as we can," David Turk, the deputy energy secretary, said on Bloomberg TV on Monday. "We've been doing that for the last several months. And at this price level, we'll keep doing it."

WTI crude is trading at $73 a barrel, down from its September high of nearly $94. That drop in prices arrives as US crude production has set fresh record highs of more than 13.2 million barrels a day.

But as low as prices may be, there's a limit to how much oil can be funneled into the SPR. Turk said 3 million barrels a month was the current physical limit of how much the US could buy back.

"So we will be doing at least 3 million barrels, and we hope we can bring more capacity online at these price levels to buy as much as we can to refill to make sure we've got that available when we need it in the future," he added.
