A felon on death row was convicted in a court of law, he was granted all his constitutional rights, the death penalty was on the table due to the brutality of the crime, the jury found him guilty and he was given the death sentence. The execution may have been delayed for years while the condemned appealed, but all options ran out and the state gave him the needle. The body is then turned over to the family.

A baby in the womb destined to die by its mother's hand has not been convicted of any crime, granted no constitutional rights, no appeals, no jury, and the child receives the death penalty.

A very small percentage of criminal convictions result in a death penalty,
100% of abortions result in death.

The Death Penalty should be for heinous crimes that are proven beyond any doubt. I also believe that people who commit these heinous crimes should die the same way as their victims. If a victim suffered greatly before dying, so should the murderer.

It has been said by you bleeding heart liberals that the death penalty is not a deterrent. Well, it certainly is for one. Brian Dorsey will not commit any more acts of violence!

I personally would rather see my taxpayer dollars go to programs that might keep someone off death row than to feed and nurture them for life when they have proven that they have no redeeming social value.
