So we're back to the MAGA tradition of shooting in the dark.

Where in that sign do you see the word "illegal"?

First of all, not ALL immigrants are "illegal". In fact, there is no such thing as an illegal immigrant. They are either documented or undocumented. If they are undocumented it means they crossed the border illegally which is WHY they didn't get documented... OR because they let their temporary documentation (work visas) expire. Either way, without valid documentation they can't actually get legitimate jobs, which means they aren't included in that big number you got there.

So you are following the MAGA tradition here of making bold accusations based on data you don't understand. Well done.

What's really of concern is that we still have seven more months of it! And the Marxist left is going to try to ramp it up so that there won't even BE an election this time!

This could well be the election that either saves or ruins our great country!

..

The combined cost of all the illegal immigrants (I'm sorry it's New Comers) for resources, health, crime, anchor babies, etc will affect this country financially more than previous wars have because those cost will go on for years and years.

Did you even read my posting? The following excerpt is from the posting you responded to above. The quotes contained within are from an August 2015 op-ed in The American Spectator - not a stalwart of liberal thought - but instead, a revered American conservative publication since 1967.

...The first use of the term 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' may have been by Esther Goldberg in an August 2015 op-ed in The American Spectator; she applied the term to "Ruling Class Republicans" who were/are dismissive or contemptuous of Trump. Krauthammer, in an op-ed harshly criticizing Trump, commented that—in addition to general hysteria about Trump— "Trump Derangement Syndrome" was the "inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and ... signs of psychic pathology" in his behavior. The term has been described as something used by conservative groups whenever someone speaks out critically against Trump, regardless of political affiliation...

Unless I'm mistaken, August of 2015 was well before the campaign and election of 2016...thus, also well before Trump took the oath of office. Yet, according to your post, "TDS was already evident when the clamor for Trump's impeachment was echoed by the WAPO before he took the oath of office and the persecution has never stopped." However, the evidence of TDS came from respected conservative members of the GOP.

One can reasonably assume "fair and balanced" information means something different to you - right alongside 'alternative facts'. Sorry, Mike, but your TDS glows like a neon sign.

Oh I read it alright, but it's glaringly obvious that TDS "evolved" and is now more common in Leftists jargon than when Esther Goldberg penned her op-ed in The American Spectator. She applied the term to "Ruling Class Republicans" who were dismissive or contemptuous of Trump. We call them RINO's today, folks like Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Adam Kinzinger and others now rejected by the rank and file. TDS today is solidly enshrined, displayed and promoted by your DNC State Controlled Marxist Media Propaganda Bureau's and I'd be delighted to find a single Leftist who is immune to their sinister influence.

I know but I have a real hard time abandoning Slats and Perm. I can't do it. What we see today IS NOT who they were. Someone has to stick around and toss them a lifeline. They best hurry up though, I'm unable to toss it very far.

Padre, save that lifeline for someone who needs it. I am very content with both who I am and the life I have led and still lead. I can't speak for Frosty, but I'm pretty certain he feels the same about himself and his life. I suggest both Frosty and myself lead very balanced lives.

Inasmuch as I think kindly of you, I also feel safe in assuming you have led a good life and maintain it in your golden years. The fact that, at times, we view life through different lenses does not take away from knowing that I think as highly of you as you must of me. I assure you that, even when in disagreement, I thoroughly enjoy our exchanges. I guess, because I'm not terribly far behind you in age, that allows me to appreciate your Faith, passion, intellectualism, communication skills - and feistiness

Enjoy your evening, my friend.

It’s in the multiple billions…and that’s just for “the Biden years”. We will be paying for the chain migration and anchor babies of the relatives of these illegals for decades.

Even if I were to grudgingly admit to TDS's evolvement, my posting was more about the origin of the term from GOP infighting.

"Unfortunately like many of their other little online crusades, this has backfired. People dislike Trump for actual reasons which often go well beyond just politics or partisanship, and if anyone has TDS, it's very often those that blindly support him."

Years ago Frosty Woolridge recommended that we stop ALL IMMIGRATION legal and illegal until we find out who should be here legally and who should be deported and I agree with that and stop allowing anchor babies.

If People dislike Trump so much then why is he so much higher in the poles? With all the terrible things taking place in the world and this country since Biden lied and cheated his way into the WH......why is it that the only thing liberals fear is one old man????

They need a scapegoat for the mess their guy is making.

Just watch how they will try to blame Trump for Biden’s disasters…already are, for that matter.

My oh my, what a short memory you have. The last pillaging I saw after a lost election was the MAGA crowd, on Jan 6, 2021. Name a single time Democrats burned, looted, or anything else after losing an election.

I wait with bated breath.

Why do you people do that? All these false accusations and baseless assumptions about people just because you don't like their view. Mattoid has not actually stated that he supports the killing of Trump. Not once. I wrote a program to scan ALL the pages of a topic in about 6 seconds and I use it to scan for things people say and not ONE person stated they want to see Trump killed.

You're original post implies that Trump's critics want him killed. It would appear that is all your own fantasy. Is this your attempt to demonize them or maybe a feeble attempt to make Trump out to be some great threat to our culture?

Let me help you out here, Lily... None of us are all that worried about Trump. Trump is a moron. What we are worried about is the rise in bigotry and ignorance that Trump is tapping into because it leaves us open to future politicians that might actually be smart enough to leverage that and turn our country into the kind of fascist tyranny that no one really wants.

So if you can drop your idolization of Trump for just one moment you MIGHT give yourself a chance to put credit where credit is due. Trump doesn't scare us. YOU people do. Because if there is one lesson that Trump has taught us, it's that if Adolph Hitler ran for president in 2024, you would very likely vote for him.

Not true. The FBI, CIA and others in the Alphabet Mafia under the DOJ have unquestionably interfered in Trump elections. The DOJ is currently interfering in the 2024 election with the ridiculous charges against Trump. Of course a jackass like yourself believe they're justified and legitimate. I don't even know why I respond to someone as disgusting as you. Shame on me.

"unquestionably"?? Where's the your proof? You haven't any, just your uninformed opinions.

Dunning Kruger talking. You don't know enough to even know how little you know.

Due to this prevailing attitude, diversity in opinion is too often lambasted. As a result, the OPP forum often resembles a cuckoo's nest. Nurse Ratched, where are you
