There is no restriction. You may say anything about your case through your lawyer at anytime.
If you want to explain/say something yourself you have to wait till the closure of prosecution evidence and till you are examined by the court under Section 313 CrPC (accused statement).
Of course you may examine yourself as a defence witness and say whatever you like but you must make a written request for the same (see Section 315 CrPC).
Did you read point #2 regarding how statements regarding the case must be positioned? How about #3? One could only hope that the Fat Boy would choose #4. How much fun would a lawyer have with the cross examination under oath?

That is basically what he is trying to do. His biggest problem is his decades long history of stiffing those to whom he owes money. Lenders and those that issue bonds are not in the real estate business and do not want buildings that are hard to sell and can involve very expensive considerations. A cash bond pays upon a guilty or unfavorable verdict. Nice and clean!

Fat Donny is a rapist according to the verdict in the E. Jean Carroll trial that the Fat Boy lost initially and then lost again a second time around when he was unable to shut his fat mouth. Carroll is delighted that he has put up the bond for his appeal. She knows that he stands no chance of having the verdict reversed and the standing bond means that when the judge tells Fat Donny that he, again, is guilty, she receives the money the next day and will not have to go through years dealing with its collection.

I am not a lawyer but dozens of them proved that the Fat Boy manipulated appraisals, made them himself or made them meaningless some other way. It makes no difference what those who made deals with him think. The laws are on the books and they are there to be observed. The Fat Boy knew that he was committing a crime and he did it anyway - over and over again for decades. He put dozens of small businessmen out of business by refusing to pay their invoices for their services and dragging them through court like he is trying to do now, until they went broke. He is a dyed in the wool scum bag and deserves everything that is handed out to him.

I thought all properties had an assessment done on them by inspection for their valuation and property size. If this was done by bankers and inspection s than how can people accuse Trump of evaluating his own property. That does not make sense to a lot of Americans who buy and sell their homes according to appraisal all the time

This trial was definitely unfair, the Judge and Attorney General were both out for Trump. There were never any complaints from the banks were Trump borrowed money and all money was paid back with interest. Where is the crime? As a previous Bank Manager that did loans, I can tell you that when a loan is done using property, an independent appraiser is sent out to do the appraisal. Also, the judged used the incorrect property value on Maralago.
Second point is that no one has ever been given a $425 million dollar fine for something that there were no injured parties.
Third point, bond was posted and James will not accept it because she wants to take his property.
Fourth point, it doesn't matter whether or not you like Trump; what matters is, if they get away with this prosecution who is next? Everyone that opposes someone that they like. When did this stop being the United States. Obviously when Joe Biden took office.

Your assumption as to who conducts appraisals and property values and the controls under which they must conduct themselves is inaccurate. Appraisals are subject to chicanery like almost anything else. Fat Donny the Crook preyed on the basic honesty that most of us possess. His victims believed the information passes on by the crook and probably did not go much deeper than the basic checks that had served them well for years if not decades. With a little bit of planning and the willingness to do anything regardless of legality or morality, a serious crook like Fat Donny could swindle virtually anyone except, maybe, an even bigger, smarter crook. Fortunately for Fat Donny, none of his victims fit that description.
