What is the difference between religion and superstition? Both consist in faith and beliefs that are not in any way shape or form supported by empirical evidence.

Actually it's superstition that consists of beliefs that are not in any way shape or form supported by empirical evidence and ... faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

That's why they call it FAITH dummy...

Superstition is fear of the unknown. Faith is trust in the known God of the universe. There is more joy in trusting in the God that exists than there is in living in hate of the God you do not want to exist.

Not wanting to step on cracks or walk under a ladder is a superstition . Loving those around you and praying for peace is a religion .

It's the stupid atheistic morons who believe everything knowable and of substance is wrapped up in a single book and who have zero knowledge of Christ appearing to many throughout the ages or the innumerable instantaneous healing miracles and other occurrences. One of my favorite was when the Desert Father, St. Anthony the Great, who was constantly attacked by demonic forces because of his holiness, was tossed out of his bed on to the floor of his cave by demons for the umpteenth time and he finally cried out in despair, "Jesus where are you when I need you?" Jesus appeared before Anthony and his disciple, Athanasius who would also become a saint, and said, "Anthony, I've been here the whole time watching."

You ought to consider reading about the life of Anthony the Great as told by Athanasus. It's a very interesting short read. Knowing in advance, of course, that you never will approach anything that will unclog your perverted mind. You can lead a jackass to water etc, etc, etc.

The is not one single position of the Catholic Church that is not completely consistent with historical & scientific evidence. With your statement about fetuses having no right, you forfeit all scientific standing.
