The U.S. Navy has instructed housekeepers to remove Gideon-placed Bibles from every hotel room on its military bases after it received a letter from the atheist group Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF).
"We were told today, June 23, 2014, that due to a new policy by the CEO of NEXCOM, Rear Admiral Robert J. Bianchi, we were to remove the Bibles from the rooms," a housekeeper told AFA in an email. "They told us to put them in boxes, where they would be taken to a donation center somewhere."
NEXCOM (Navy Exchange Service Command) issued the directive to bases offering hotel accommodations, ordering them to impound Bibles from 34 Navy Lodge locations and 24,000 Navy Gateway Inns & Suites guest rooms on Navy bases worldwide.
The directive orders lodge managers to contact base commanders and Chaplains and facilitate removing the Bibles and other "religious material currently in the guest rooms."
The Air Force tried unsuccessfully to remove Bibles from its lodgings in 2012, but after public outcry, the Air Force reversed itself.

not being removed. But, the squeaky wheel gets oiled. I am a
Christian and will freely admit it to any one, any where, and at any
time. The END TIMES are upon us, and I can hear God's Army gathering like the rush of a whirl wind! The slaughter of the Christians in Iraq is one of the signals, "Christians will be Martyred"
The general public will not see it coming, because they don't read the Bible, or attend church. But to those of us are Christians, it is very plan to see, and understand.
I hate to see what is happening to our country, under THE THING in OUR WHITE HOUSE, but America is being destroyed by
(IT) We are facing a sure Revolution, and with all the evil people
that are hiding, under cover, waiting for A SIGNAL from (IT) we

Constitutionally they can not do this but the appropriate solution would be if another religion wants to pay to publish and disperse there "bible" then they should be allowed to also include it along with the Bible.

that stage. I took two semesters of
Middle East History from a radical Islamist,
no less. I was 29 or 30, at the time, and
the rest of the students were all in their
teens. He would start his rants against
Israel and the Jewish people, trying to sell
how bad they were to his poor little
Palistine, and I would take Israel's side,
and the words did fly. Blue air and all!
God and Allah were mentioned often, and
not in the best language. I figured he would
flunk me, but I got an A both semesters.
He and I got to where we could coexist, and
we used to laugh about the class. He said
he felt like they got the best, or worst of
both sides, but that they wouldn't forget it!!
