Morons are those who refuse to believe the facts and truth. I read, study, and learn from history and proven facts. The economy is driven by lots of people buying goods and services. Gee, I learned that much in college, and it is highly surprising that people in this forum still do not know that. They think the wealthy drive the economy and job creation. And that is absolutely false. Give a working class family a paycheck and it is quickly spent, increasing the jobs available and feeding the economy. Give another million to the wealthy, and they invest it, which doers not build the economy, because they already have enough money to buy whatever they want, and added money generally is not needed for buying more goods an services. Instead, they invest it offshore or in the stock market like they did back on 1927 under President Coolidge. That resulted in the Great Depression as they bid up the market, building a huge unwarranted bubble, and the bubble burst on Black Friday, 1929, precipitating the Great Depression. Get out your history books, people, and learn facts for a change. The only way to stop being a moron is to learn facts, not the lies you are fed by the GOP sources.

No shit Sherlock. We have a consumer driven economy. The wealthy, entrepreneurs, small business's, anyone that hires laborers to produce what the consumer wants. Must have both. The tax cuts under Coolidge weren't the only reasons for the Great Depression. The wealthy do create jobs. They don't only invest. That's stupid. Bezos, Musk, people like that employee thousands. You're problem; you think you're smart but your partisanship makes you stupid.

Democratic socialism is a modern day construct (made up term) by marxist socialists in it's early stages of pushing socialism. It will, in order to survive, devolve into authoritarian socialism as more people stop contributing and only live off of others contributions. It is an inevitable path to socialism as capitalism inevitably leads to crony capitalism as the corruption of the powerful grows. Crony capitalism can be corrected with adherence to national values and with diligence. Authoritarian Socialism cannot be corrected without violent rebellion.
