On this past Friday - Good Friday for Christians - Biden made a proclamation that today, March 31, 2024, Easter Sunday, is the new “Transgender day of Visibility“…. not “Transgender Reveal Day”.

He is essentially telling American Christians that he wants us to acknowledge and accept that these people who want to reject their God-given genders, some of whom even want to mutilate their bodies, are normal contributors to society!

They are not!

On the day we celebrate Jesus‘s resurrection from the dead, Biden wants American Christians to disregard God and His laws.

Minimize it all you want, but that is how drastic we view this proclamation to be.

The Christians I know view this as a severe and clearly obvious attempt by Satan - through Biden - to draw more people away from God.

We know this is supposed to happen, we just didn’t realize it would be this pervasive and this quickly.

The number oftimes I have seen the names you called my husband I will not tolerate. IMO Donald Trump belongs in Federal Prison. However he will probably not see the inside of ClubFed although he would look good in an Orangejumpsuit washing military ambulances. As far as him being blocked from the ballot there is not enough evidence that he did encourage or support the Jan6 Riot/Insurrection. If such evidence is ever found that he is guilty of supporting or encouraging the protestors to ransack the Capital then he should be removed from the ballot. If Pres.Biden was to step down due to health before the convention then I would like to see an Open Convention with all candidates eligible. So open that if we need to elect an Octogenarian then we Need Bernie Sanders and Elizaeth Warren as VP. I also don't think VP Harris is a good idea but she is in direct succession as established in the Constitution. I also stand by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights as written but with the right of the people to ammend when needed ie: the 2nd. I am a responsible gun owner and user and respect the right of all non criminal Americans to own firearms.

As I stated in the beginning I am Liberal NOT Marxist, Communist, Nazi etc...I did Not Vote for Hillary in 2016 because I think she absolutely failed us in the last yrs she was SecState. I voted for the Green Party then andmay do so again in November. I support our military(ALL of them) but find aggression as destructive. This goes back to having to see what happened to my family when my older brother(18) volunteered for VietNam. because he wanted to protect his little sisters. He was a Navy Corpsman assigned to the Marines and he was KIA Dec.68. I was 12 and saw the effect his death had on my mother and all of us. I lived seeing alcohol take over her life luckily I was strong enough to avoid the stigma and disease that is alcoholism. Unfortunately neither my first two marriages worked out. The father of my daughter left me when she was in pre school. We divorced and shared custody until she was 18 and chose to live with me. My marriage last year to LostAggie has been very good for both of us. We are friends and now husband and wife. My daughter adores him and when he suggested he wanted to be closer to his family we moved (from PA) Aggie came to PA after we met on line in 2019. We made a visit AL/FL in 2020 to meet some of Charlies daughters(Now mine) We got back to PA one week before shutdown. My daugher and I agreed to leave PA(where we were both born and lived)last summer. We moved to Texas and are 3bluedots in a very red state but we do have liberal friends and fellow democrats. We also have 5 greatgrand children we have not yet seen This includes 5mo twin boys an older brother(4)born in CO and a 10mo girl all in FL. Aggies middle daughter and family live here in Corpus Christi about a mile from us and we see them almost daily.

I think I have rambled enough for now. Just trust me that I do have opinions on many issues that the MAGA majority want to see purged and forgotten as we return to the "glorious 1950s" or maybe even the gay1890s. Children of National Guard families are invited to submit Easter egg designs to the White House for the annual "egg roll" party—so long as those designs are not at all religious. Easter, of course, is the key holiday in the Christian liturgical calendar. The entire purpose of the holiday is to celebrate the resurrection of the Christian lord and savior Jesus Christ who, according to liturgy, died to take away the sins of the world.
For the Biden White House, however, Christianity is irrelevant to Easter. This year, on behalf of First Lady Jill Biden, the White House has declared that any religious symbolism on the eggs, the symbol of rebirth representing Jesus' resurrection, would not be permitted.
Restrictions include that "The Submission must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements."
One wonders what they think the holiday is intended to celebrate.
"Celebrating Easter is one of the oldest time-honored traditions at the White House," the flier to National Guard families reads. "Since 1878, American presidents and their families have celebrated Easter Monday by hosting an 'egg roll' party. Held on the South Lawn, it is one of the oldest annual events in White House history. It has changed and evolved through the years and each First Family has put their stamp on the popular event."
America's Egg Farmers present "an intricately decorated Commemorative Easter Egg to the First Lady of the United States" every year and have done so for 50 years. The flier continues to note that "In 2021, the White House expanded on this longstanding tradition by displaying youth-designed Easter eggs in the White House East Colonnade."
The call for submissions, however, undermines the entire holiday. The artwork, which is meant to "celebrate" military families, was not permitted to have any reference to Easter. Suggestions for submissions include "a snapshot of [the children's] life - a favorite activity, the scenery in your state, your military family, a day in your life, etc."
The winning submissions "will be brought to life on real hen eggs by talented egg artists from across the country and displayed at the White House this Easter and Passover season."

In addition to standard conditions that the design must not be "inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous," and that it "must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age," (These are all good.) are the prohibition on "religious symbols, overtly religious themes." (Not so good. The First Amendment provided for freedom of religious expression by prohibiting the government from making laws respecting an establishment of religion; prohibiting the free exercise of religion; or abridging the freedom of speech. {Not freedom from religion.})

The Biden White House has pushed diversity, equity, and inclusion for minorities and LGBTQ groups, but has declined to uphold pride or appreciation for Christian religions or those who practice that faith. The Christmas display at the White House, organized by First Lady Biden, had no reference at all to the meaning of the holiday and was instead a jazzy performance art interpretation of the Nutcracker by a dance troupe that promotes anti-white values.

No it's the current Republican factionthat wants to go back to the 1950's or even 1890. A plan to possibly convince Mr Trump to enact Project 2025 in January 2025 if he was to win. To overturn marriage equality, establish a national ban on a woman's choice, disbanding departments that over see safety in many work sites, making the Executive branch an imperial one.

Then you do the exact same thing to "all Demo'craps'" by agreeing with two insulting posts about how all Democrats are actually Communists etc., and writing one of your own that basically expresses the same view.

There is as much variation among Never-Trumpers as you pretend there is among MAGAts - but only one party really has a lot of diversity in their political views, and it's not Republicans.

The GOP is just the Trump party now. There are very few real Republicans anymore, and the ones who are, you Trump supporters dismiss as RINOS.
