I the words of Mitch McConnell, "If we submitted a platform the whole campaign would hinge around tearing the platform apart". What Mitch is NOT saying it that campaigns are supposed to explain to voters the difference between the policies and aspirations of the two parties so that they can make an educated decision. The right wing can't publish a platform because there is nothing that they plan or aspire to as it would cause the American voter to recoil in horror.
