" Most dangerous dog breeds ? "

Answer; Any breed of dog owned by President Joe Biden.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/02/22/biden-dog-commander-bite-24-agents/

" President Biden’s dog Commander bit Secret Service agents about 24 times, more than previously disclosed, according to newly released Secret Service emails that for the first time reveal the agency’s deliberations about adjusting its operations to keep its agents safe from the dog. "

I have a Kangal that can easily take care of a Pit bull, German Shepherd, Rockweiler or whatever.

Just like "rug rats". It's all in how they are brought up.
A person has to be smarter than the dog to train it!
Mine is an Australian Blue Heeler (Bindi) and a Treeing Walker Coon hound (Waylon).

Lost my "Katie" a couple of years ago. Took in a couple of Anatolian shepherds...but the temperament isn't the same. An Irish Wolfhound...is like a lap dog that weighs over 100lbs/stands waist high

Thanks! Waylon is "hound-headed" and Bindi is smarter than some of the posters on OPP.

The correct answer is, all of them, and all of the mixes between them.
Yesterday, I was confronted by one of the most intimidating dogs I've ever encountered, and bitten by one of the most foo foo dogs you'll ever see.
Lady, and her kids sitting on the porch with the front door open. As I approached, a massive black Cane Corso came out with a girled up Standard Poodle. The lady spoke them both, and the Corso just sat, and watched me. The Poodle was agitated.
I told the lady that I wasn't going to give her her mail, I'll go put it in her box which is a decent distance from where we were. (It's a big house). I walked away, headed for the box when the lady started yelling at one of them. Next thing I know, I was bitten on the ass by a large Poodle with bows on her ears. The Corso never moved. He just sat there by those kids letting me know I was about to die if I didn't mind my business.
Point is, they were both protecting their property, and those kids. And, the momma too.
Any dog can be dangerous in the right circumstances.
It IS NOT breed specific!!
It is how they are raised, trained, taught, and the environment they live in.

I read an interesting article about dogs' barking/intimidation behavior. Especially concerning postal workers/regular service visitors. Because all these people come to the house...and then leave while the dog is barking/aggressive...the dog is sure that he/she has been successful in his/her duty of running-off the threat/protecting the house.
