It isn't ridiculous. The owner of the gun was the aggressor, pulled out a gun and went after a man he had been arguing with with intent to kill him. The intended victim managed to get the gun away from the aggressor and shoot
him before the attacker could regain the advantage and re-attack him. A clear case of self-defense.

New York City was in pretty bad condition before Rudy Giuliani was elected mayor and cleaned it up. He did an amazing job and for a few years NYC was an awesome place. Then, those idiotic liberal politicians got back into power.
