Not at all. I fear for my country, not myself. I'm nearly 80, so he will not have a lot of time to destroy America before I am gone. Trump has as much as stated he plans to end democracy. No lie at all. That would be treason. He ignores the constitution and is simply the most self serving politician in America. Greed is his watchword, and he has no morals. Unscroupulous, selfish, and cares only for himself. Those are tyhe inarguable facts. No, I am not fond of Biden. He has done too many stupid things. But he, at least, will not destroy democracy. I wish I had another reasonable choice.

I love how apologists are trying to say that Trump meant an "economic bloodbath" - lol. As if anyone uses that term to describe economics. I don't remember ANYONE calling the economic crash of 2007 or the economic shutdown in 2020 a bloodbath.

A bloodbath has always been reference to extreme physical violence. We all knew what Trump was saying and these really lame excuses from those trying to run damage control only emphasizes the absurdity of his entire campaign.

Trump is maxed out... He can't win over anyone that isn't already dedicated to him. He lost the popular vote in 2016 by around 3 million votes, in a year in which a lot of Americans just didn't vote and because it turns out 3 million Americans is pretty easy for the EC to marginalize, the voters turned out in 2020 beating Trump down by 8 million votes, which is apparently just a little too much for the EC to dismiss and so Biden won.

Granted, Trump is doing well within the Republican Party right now but that's not saying much. He did better than Biden did in the primaries too but we all know that the Democratic primaries this year has been an opportunity for Democrats to protest Biden's stance on Israel. My bet is that when the general election rolls around, they will be voting for Biden just to keep Trump out.

Trump and his campaign knows he doesn't have the numbers to win a fair democratic election, so he's doing everything he can to rig the election and to intimidate the American people. Trump has a history of inciting violence, usually in off-the-cuff comments like when a protester at one of his rallies was being removed and he said "someone beat the hell out of him".

"Oh, he didn't really mean it."

It doesn't even matter if he meant it or not, it's the simple fact that he keeps doing it in dramatic contrast to every other president before him that NEVER made such comments.

The same can be said for some leftwing journals and internet sites that list opinion articles.
There is an occasional newscaster that tells the truth in leftwing media, but they are fired by the station or network for going against the approved "narrative" like Catherine Herridge was from CBS.
Invoking fear through their propaganda campaign have gullible people like you believing that nonsense.
