When Trump was president, he proposed cutting Social Security in every budget he submitted. Why do you expect anything different from Trump?

Did he get anything passed?

The Success of Chile’s Privatized Social Security
JULY/AUGUST 1995 • POLICY REPORT By José Piñera
https://www.cato.org/policy-report/july/august-1995/success-chiles-privatized-social-security

Chileans must still save for retirement but manage their money in a variety of investment choices, especially annuities.

This way, Chili's money is not fettered away instantly by Congress and FICA revenue mixed in with general tax revenue and spent instantly. Chili's citizens own their retirement account in their own name and bank. Contrary, our SS system and Medicare are giant Ponzi schemes, copied by Bernie Madoff on Wall Street who went to prison for such a swindle. We are bankrupt morally and financially. Chili is successful. Why don't we learn from our smart Latino neighbor?

As for Medicare, PRIVATIZE the entire thing. It usurps half of our tax revenue's budget. Open up interstate commerce and let the consumer shop across all 50 state lines for a portable insurance policy and doctors that meets his personal needs, just like we shop for cheap auto insurance and drive all over the country.

Start by overturning the 1945 McCarren-Ferguson Act that placed health insurance under the Interstate Commerce Clause granting federal and state regulation quarantining consumers state by state. The politicians reap huge campaign contributions in exchange for regulating health insurance policies artificially wide and high in cost. Where is the competition to drive down cost and improve quality?

The consumer must control his own healthcare and his own insurance policy or HSA.

Trump insists there is enough oil and gas under our feet to keep us energy independent and fund our Entitlements for the next 200 years. He would know.

The problem is government healthcare is a death warrant. There is no consumer control over cost and quality. When it comes to Obamacare, it's cheaper to kill us than cure us. "Just give grandma the pain pill." Let the Gang of 15 play medical triage for Medicare availability. Dope the belligerents. Legalize marijuana. Braindead drug addicts make good slaves. Keep them on the government plantation.

To quote Senator Barry Goldwater:
"The Government does not belong in the bedroom."
Nor does it belong in the medicine cabinet.
Nor does it belong in the refrigerator.

There comes a time when Big is TOO BIG and inefficient, corrupt and heartless.

A lot is going to be cut.
We have lived beyond our means for far too long.

It was never his plan

12 million more illegal aliens will break the system all the sooner.

Before Obamacare destroyed my health insurance policies, my bank bought bundles of customers across all 50 state borders and offered a variety of policies at very affordable prices. My combination of health insurance, drug coverage and life insurance fluctuated between a total of $50 - $60/month (less than $720/year).

My employer did not cover our health insurance, and we were instructed that only the labor union could negotiate cadillac coverage policies costing $10,000+/year. Of course, that did not happen.

When Obama was elected and Nancy Pelosi came up with a 2,700 page healthcare reform bill, The Affordable Care Act, she quipped, "well let's first pass it then we can see what's in it."

Then the HHS and IRS called me and said my new Medicare plan was not covered at such a cheap price and they set about a FINE. When they discovered my policies were with insurance companies they approved, but at such a low cost, they were fit to be tied! They first withdrew the fine. Next they destroyed my bank that shopped across all state borders with its millions of customers. The Democrats wanted to milk us for all we were worth and watch us squirm. What government a racket.

Find a good Medicare Advantage plan where you can choose a specialist outside the system if you need. That is the best you can do with the current system before it goes belly-up or Trump comes to the rescue.

Greed. Career administrators and managers are good at that. There is much that could be improved.

Can we all just take a deep breath and listen for a minute please. Three years ago I felt like I was on top of the world. Thought my health was good, walking four miles a day and felt good. Then one day I was out walking and tripped on a crack in the sidewalk. The resulting essay of my chest found no cracked ribs but there was mass on my right lung! Of course it was cancer. So fast forward 6 months after a bunch of tests and essays my right lung was removed and I did chemo and radiation. Three months later I had to have another surgery to repair the bronchial stub that was leaking. It was fixed by cracking my chest like they do for open heart surgery. The point I am trying to make is fortunately I was on Medicare and a supplement other wise my bill would have been almost 500 thousand! What I am saying is things can change in a hot minute is don't say you will never need it. My out of pocket cost for that whole mess was loss that one thousand. I always tell my representatives that S S and Medicare are not intitlements, they are forced retirement programs that we are forced to into because the money is automatically deducted from every dollar we make from the day we start drawing a paycheck. Therefore they should be protected just like any other retirement plan such as an IRA or 401K
