Today only had 23 hours. I’m sure of it because I had to hurry to feed the cows and get to church on time.

I don't think so. If they do, here in northern Illinois it'll get light out at 4am in the summer and dark by 730 PM at the height of summer. We will never have evening light

The farmers have big machines and their kids don't need to help out working the fields anymore before school. So why keep something that is no longer necessary?
