You may have missed it, but many of the courts are now packed with Trump-appointed judges - including Cannon in FL who is currently helping him delay the documents trial as long as humanly possible.
As a Trump appointee, the correct question to ask about her is why she did not recuse herself instead of accepting her assignment to that case. Or maybe - why was she assigned in the first place?
And let's not forget SCOTUS, with an entire THIRD now DJ appointees. It certainly makes me wonder why 1) they decided to hear his claim of immunity case after the DC Circuit wrote a flawless opinion on it, 2)why that hearing was delayed for weeks and 3) if they plan to take as long to render their verdict as they did on the 14th Amendment question - when that opinion was unanimous.
