Is HAARP Behind the Weird Weather

I have been studying the HAARP installation we have in the Arctic, and have found several websites that furnish scientific data on the installation, both pro and con, as to whether it is responsible to our weird weather phenomenon. One website states that the installation, High-frequency Active Aural Research Program, (HAARP) was first invented to fight wars by the controlled changing of the weather. They claim this has a lot to do with the crazy weather patterns that have been developing across this country and the world. They claim other countries are experimenting with these magnetic waves and are in fact disrupting weather worldwide.

I understand that National Geographic has had this subject on their program at least twice of which I missed both of them.

Does anyone else have an input on this besides the left-wing radical liberals that lurk around on this website?

That was what I had hopes of finding out. I have read articles that state the weird weather phenomenon is actually caused by the experimentation of this HAARP installation. It has something to do with the electro-magnetic pulses sent into the upper atmosphere to change the weather. Some of these sites believe the weird droughts we are having in California and Australia, with constant rain in other parts of this country are the result of the testing of this apparatus.

So...Climate change is a conspiracy theory and not to be believed. So... lets come up with a different conspiracy theory to explain changes in weather. Makes sense to me! At a quick glance, I see that HAARP sights are being dismantled. If the weather keeps being weird I guess we'll know which conspiracy theory to believe now won't we?

I do not see at all where the HAARP site in Alaska is being dismantled. I don't know where you got this but it is nowhere I can find. Can you give a link to the site so I can study it because I am very interested in this.

All I got out of that mumbo-Jumbo was that there was PLANS to close HAARP. There was nothing definite in all the wasted words printed. But isn't that par for the course for the government?

Well yes, and at only $290 million to build it was such a bargain for Senator "bridge to nowhere" Ted Stevens, R Alaska, to build too. And all the fun of creating tsunamis and earthquakes and such. tisk.

I know of no one that disputes climate change. It happens continually. What is being disputed is the ridiculous claims of global warming! All of the previous computer models have all of the ice melting away at the poles, and a rise in temperatures much greater than what has happened. Have there been droughts and heat waves across the world? Absolutely, but not any more frequent than in the past.
There has been little difference in the weather patterns over the years. The difference is that there are so many people living in areas previously sparsely or uninhabited. How do we know that super storms have not hit before? We didn't become a nation until 1776. The land was sparsely inhabited for many decades to follow. A super storm may well have hit the gulf coast and there would have been very few if any to record it. Those living in the area most likely died. Weather was not even recorded until well into the later parts of the 19th century. My point is that we have no idea of what weather events hit North A0erica until well into the 20th century. If global warming is so prevalent, why was it changed to climate change?

If HAARP is true then it is just another black eye for humankind. Trying to control the weather for peaceful purposes would be a wonderful thing. However as stated it was to be used for war. Why do we have to always think of ways to destroy ourselves? Had atomic power been used to better humans it would have been a tremendous step towards world peace. However, like everything else we touch, it was corrupted to fit mans desire for power!
