9th-Grade Curriculum: Bondage, Orgasms, and Bondage

There was a day in this country not so long ago — a veritable Golden Age, if you will — when teachers were expected to behave in a reserved, adult manner befitting of role models and they could actually be fired for having lurid sexual conversations with vulnerable teenage children.

Now, teachers are expected to lead children by the hand through Sodom and Gomorrah, pointing out the brothels and sex shops they can try along the way.

That was somewhat figurative, though not much. Let me be plain.

CBS has reported that the Fremont Unified School District in California has adopted as part of the ninth-grade curriculum a “health education” book titled “Your Health Today” that teaches children about sadomasochism, sex toys, masturbation and orgasms. It doesn’t even do so in a tactful manner, showing pictures of sex organs in various states of arousal and describing in detail how to buy and use condoms.

The district is the only one in California to use the book. District teachers voted unanimously to use it. More than 1,000 angry parents have signed a petition demanding that the book not be used.

Clearly, the teachers have a mental problem if they think ninth-graders need to know how to have safe bondage sex and what to look for in a vibrator.

“Our high-school students today need all the tools they can have to arm themselves to make the best- informed decision,” School Board President Lara Calvert-York told CBS.

That may be the first time I’ve heard anyone describe sex toys and safety words as “tools.”

Parent Latonya Stevenson, being shown images from the book during CBS’ broadcast, said, “It’s a bit much for me, I’m not comfortable with my child – I mean, wow, that’s, the graphics are extreme – oh my gosh. They are very pornographic. The pictures are very explicit.”

Some of the students interviewed weren’t too pleased with the book, either.

Jim Morris, the Fremont Unified School District superintendent, defended the book, saying the “anatomy pieces” are required.

What next, a field trip to a triple-X shop?

Call me old-fashioned, but when we were kids, teachers managed to get through the sex-ed portion of our curriculum without showing us porn or talking about bondage and sex toys. We learned what we needed to know about biology, but we got a healthy dose of discussions about responsibility and waiting until marriage. The interesting thing is that fuddy-duddy approach seemed to work. Teen pregnancy was almost nonexistent, and many of the couples who met at my high school are still married today, with healthy, happy families.

The Fremont district, and other schools throughout this country, have chosen the low road, dumbing down school to meet the lowest common denominator. In the process, they actually put their young charges in jeopardy by turning them into little more than sex-hungry deviants.

The Planned Parenthood, Penthouse and Urban Dictionary crowd should not be deciding the sex-ed curriculum in schools.

Why aren't they teaching firearm safety? Considering how many gun crimes are committed daily in California, these children need to be familiar with firearms and know how to use guns safely. As they are going to encounter firearms, schools need to prepare them to handle guns safely.

This has helped them tremendously in the past. I remember the 50's and the women burning their bras, and free love, hippies smoking marijuana. It worked well for them then as now we have a generation or two of individuals who don't know God and are into the sex thing. Now we have to deal with them on welfare and just about illiterate about anything political. Our colleges to day are these courses only advanced up by several levels.I think that in some cases college is nothing more that a big sex party.

Perhaps they err. They should be holding mandatory courses, such as you described, for parents, so that THEY can teach their children. Parents teaching children has worked for 1000's of years and it wasn't until some enlightened eggheads determined that people had been doing it wrong all along. It's a wonder that humans managed to survive without all the eggheads.

As I understand it, in a great deal of Europe the age on consent is 12
I saw something in an article today that at least one Democrat senator is pushing for the age of consent there to be 12 too.

Several sources have stated that the "Gay Rights" advocates have been pushing for 12 as the legal age for intergenerational sex, but while they put such discussions in their in house literature, they deny it in public.

I am tempted to say and believe that there were actually "the good old days": they never have existed since the beginning of time. Human nature has not changed. What we now say about the upcoming generation and the general state of affairs is just mimicking all of Civilization's lament about the "next generation." Reading ancient Greek and Roman chroniclers is like a press release from Limbugh on liberal decadence. It is not liberal but basic human nature that wills out.

I saw something in an article today that at least one Democrat senator is pushing for the age of consent there to be 12 too.

As an ACLU attorney Ruth Bader Ginsburg advocated lowering the age of consent for sexual activity to 12. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi marched with the leading advocate of "Man Boy Love" in the 2001 San Francisco "Gay Pride" parade, under the NAMBLA banner. (nothing was mentioned in the newspaper about that) so there is a push for lowering or eliminating the age of consent all together. Keep in mind that this is a state issue, so watch out for California! Remember as California goes, so goes the country DOWNHILL.

In 1972 the Gay Rights platform was formulated including 9 federal goals and eight state goals some of which called for
Issuance by the president fof an executive order prohibiting the military from excluding for reason of their sexual orientation, persons who, of their own volition desire entrance into the Armed Services: and from issuing lest than fully honorable discharges for homosexuality, and the upgrading to fully honorable all such discharges previously issued, with retroactive benefits.
Repeal of all state laws prohibiting private sexual acts involving consenting persons; equalization for homosexuals and heterosexuals for the enforcement of all laws.
Federal encouragement and support for sex education courses, prepared and aought by gay women and men, presenting homosexuality as a valid healthy preference and lifestyle as a viable alternative to heterosexuality.
Repeal all state laws prohibiting transvestism and cross-dressing.
Repeal of all laws governing age of SEXUAL CONSENT
Repeal of all legislative provisions that restrict the SEX or NUMBER of persons entering into a marriage unit, and the extension of legal benefits to all who cohabit regardless of sex or numbers.

ACT UP leader Steve Warren intoned an ominous sounding alarm in the ADVOCATE 1987 "Warning to The homophobes"

Henceforth, homosexuality will be spoken of in your churches as an honorable estate

You can either let us marry people of the same sex, or better yet abolish marriage altogether.

You will be expected to offer ceremonies that bless our sexual arrangements.. You will also instruct your people in homosexual as well as heterosexual behavior and you will go out of your way to make sure that homosexual Youths are allowed to date, attend religious functions together , openly display affection and enjoy each others sexuality without embarrassment or guild.

Finally we will in all likelihood want to expunge a number of passages from your scriptures and rewrite others, eliminating preferential treatment of marriage and using words that will allow for homosexual interpretations of passages describing biblical lovers such as Ruth and Boaz, or Solomon and the Queen of Sheba: Warning, if these things do not come to pass quickly we will subject Orthodox Jews and Christians to the most sustained hatred and vilification in recent memory. We have captured the liberal establishment and the press . We have already beaten you on a number of battlefields...you have neither the faith nor the strength to fight us, so you might as well surrender now.

In July 7-12 1985 the Second International Gay Youth Congress in Dublin adopted thirteen resolutions Two of which are
As young people we must be free to choose our own identities and lifestyles. WE OPPOSE AGES OF CONSENT AND ALL LAWS WHICH RESTRICT CONSENSUAL SEXUAL ACTIVITY because as young people they limit our sexual freedom and deny us the right to choose who we relate to sexually
We call for the abolition of all ages of consent..Youth must be made less dependent on older people, materially and emotionally

John Corvino Homosexuality and the PIB argument from a Queer thing happened to America M.L Brown

Does this sound like the "Gay Rights movement" is advocating for what they euphemistically call "intergenerational sexual relationships?

Perhaps you might want to think about this as you listen to their denial. What is said for publication and what is really planned are often significantly different. Just look at any politician.

Several sources have stated that the "Gay Rights" advocates have been pushing for 12 as the legal age for intergenerational sex, but while they put such discussions in their in house literature, they deny it in public.[/quote]

That would require common sense and anyone with common sense left the state already.
Instead they teach sexual practices including anal sex that are high risk EVEN WITH A CONDOM.

More people get AIDS now than have in years, and while they live longer with the disease than previously, no virus is curable. Did you know that the virus can lay dormant for years after the heavy doses of drugs end up with what they think is a cured person, only to re emerge shortly after the drugs are stopped? They don't teach that in "safe sex health class" Nor do they discuss the emotional damage to teenagers from bondage and torture games sex "games" because that might hurt the feeling of those who think such activity is a great idea.
The only use for a gun they might have in California is as a sex toy (hopefully unloaded)
