It is a respectful fear, one that seeks to honor the one feared. Since you do not know the Father how can you make any claim to love? Sincere genuine Love cares for and nutures the soul of a beloved. As a father did you nuture any of your familie's souls? Since you and your family deny the existence of a soul, deny the existence of God, deny free will, construct your own ideas of right and wrong, how the bloody hell can you make a claim to anything called love?

My anger is not at Christians except when Christians try to force their beliefs on others. My anger is directly targeted at religions, not the parishioners. That is because the religions, not the parishioners, are the long running scams that control others and take their money. Not to mention brainwashing children to guarantee a continuing flock of sheep into the future. Religions work to guarantee long term survival of an organization that furthers ignorance and control of the flock. I consider that to be a very negative impact on the continued scientific learning of reality. We athiests have a strong, very healthy relationship with reality.

You find the need to respond to one of my posts three times....and you mention Christians an awful lot in your rants against "religions"!

You use the excuse that you are angry...and not at parishioners, but at an inanimate subject: Religion. And while claiming that, you amazingly follow it with a rant about those very parishioners who operate those religions. And from what you have been posting here, I believe those "parishioners" you mention are really Christians: The true object of your anger and hatred!

It's not "religion" that you are complaining is brainwashing children. It's religious people (Christians?) you are berating with these kinds of comments of yours. The same thing is true in your next complaint about "religions" guaranteeing long-term survival of their congregations. The "religion" is not doing that, it is the people who run the religion. And the "ultimate" person you are angry at....the One you think is responsible for it all, is God. And you hate Him the most of all!

Its not Christians who have put aside an entire month to parade down the streets half naked, acting lewdly and throwing condoms to the crowds. We don't dress up like female clowns and go to the school libraries to read to young children. We don't take a cake-baker to the Supreme Court because they won't bake a cake celebrating something that goes against their core beliefs! You cannot talk about only Christians forcing their beliefs on you when this kind of thing is happening that we Christians are forced to see and hear about. What you always forget is it is a two-way street. If YOU are feeling oppressed by Christians professing their faith to God, we Christians feel oppressed by you leftists professing your UNfaith in God to everybody!

No one is forcing their beliefs on you - if you find yourself questioning your beliefs and becoming angry because of that questioning, maybe you should look at that instead of railing against good people whose only shortcoming, in your opinion, is that they have spiritual faith.
