You need to solve this problem at the beginning of the night. with protection, or the next day pill, or no sex at all. TNDP is free in some govt. programs.

I doubt your figures. About 450,000 women are raped/sexually abused annually in the entire US. Since 1/3 of these are not raped, that gives 300,000 raped annually, 450,000 since Roe was overturned. The number of women raped in this time in the 15 states that passed abortion bans is less than 100,000. Most women raped DO NOT become pregnant and many who do, even if they reside in a state that bans abortions, manage to get an abortion. I am not sure exactly how many rape victims were forced to give birth in states that banned abortion, but it is certainly far fewer than 60,000.

First I thought about. There is NO way in hell that 64,000 rape victims have given birth in the last year

Whenever a leftist airhead says the word "facts", all kinds of red flags go up.

The first observation is this was written by an atheist. This means his or her worldview omits religion and its moral certainty in all of life. The perils of moral relativity are legion, and the resulting sins incalculable. Atheists should not have a part in any moral decisions whatsoever, including abortion. Life is precious, and sinful activity is not to be rewarded with violation of the decalogue. Do not kill!

Yes, they are coming for our freedom of choice and ability to make personal healthcare decisions. As a result of the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe V. Wade, one in three women of reproductive age, plus trans and nonbinary people, are blocked from abortion care in their home state.

Please read this statement and let it sit with you for a moment: More than 64000 women and girls have been forced to give birth because they were raped in states that implemented abortion bans after Roe v. Wade was overruled.¹

Not surprisingly, this week, the New York Times confirmed that if elected President- Donald Trump would pave the way for a national abortion ban.² I believe that it won't stop there; MAGA extremists will then push to prevent all forms of birth control.

"Trump is a liar. This confirms Trump can & will ban abortion nationwide, even without the support of Congress, if he is elected. A second Trump term would be devastating, and we cannot allow that to happen. Not now, and not ever." - Mini Timmaraju, Reproductive Freedom for All

"It's no secret: Donald Trump overturned Roe v. Wade, bragged about it, and is pushing for a nationwide abortion ban. No one is safe from the extreme MAGA agenda." - Senator Elizabeth Warren

Another related issue is that deaths in childbirth also increased significantly in those states prohibiting abortion. I do not recall the exact percentage at present, but it is real and significant. So far as I’m concerned, trump is causing the deaths of thousands of women who did not need to die. I blame much or most of those deaths on religions which support halting abortions. Perhaps these are unintended consequences, but those women are dying unnecessarily as a result of religions and the GOP. It is way past time to stop the church from interfering with medical care of women. Religions are, IMO, only doing this to make available more children to brainwash into believing their scam is reality. No evidence or proof exists that any gods have ever existed. Not one fact or verifiable piece of evidence.

By that logic (which completely eludes a thinking impaired person such as you), then it is OK to murder any child (or even an adult) who cannot care for themselves.

You must be a leftist.......

No "logic" in the question. How many unwanted babies are you willing to support or Foster?

Do your own homework. Hint: Ask the internet how many women are raped in the US annually. From the hundreds of answers that say the same thing, pick the one you feel most politically aligned with.

One of the sites you mention quotes the number of cases of rape AND sexual abuse, the other site lists the number of rapes ONLY. Dozens of sites give the 460,000 cases of rape AND sexual abuse, only a few break it down. I had picked up, incorrectly, that 1/3 of those cases were sexual abuse but it appears that 2/3 are sexual abuse and only 1/3 are rape. Based upon those numbers, the claim that 60,000 women raped in the 15 states that ban abortion were forced to give birth to their baby would mean that every single woman raped in those states not only became pregnant but was forced to carry her pregnancy to term. That doesn't sound credible to me, how about you?
