Peg? Is pushing EVs onto us without installing charges first or making sure our roads and bridges can handle the extra weight along with semis. How about not fixing our outdated electrical system before all those EVs need charging?

I have stated many times here that totally abandoning gasoline powered vehicles needs to be done slowly a lot longer than 15yrs. We still need regular gas powered vehicles and EV's are expensive(I can't ever afford a new vehicle of any type or even a used EV. Our current car is a hybrid but we have never used the electric option. I don't think the increase in commercial ev's are a totally bad idea however. There is progress being made by fossil fuel corporations in decreasing emissions every year. We need to wean ourselves not go cold turkey and all EV...Elon is rich enough already. I still think he should not be a competitor of NASA and donate a billion or 2 so we can get back to the moon then Mars.
