I do not agree with their assessment that they were "just" defending their country when they obviously purposely bombed a school.
Obama should have come back on Netanyahu when he (Netanyahu) said that: Netanyahu told Shapiro the Obama administration was "not to ever second-guess me again"
What?! Who in cap'n crunch does this guy think that he is?!
Obama passed up a golden opportunity here. He should have told "Nets" to "get over yourself!" or some such.
Just a brief overview of some of the numbers, which should make "Nets" shut his mouth sometime:

$2,808,156,400 divided by 5,900,000 Israelis (1997) = $476 benefit per Israeli per year
At a cost of less than $24 per US taxpayer per year
Sounds like a bargain at TWICE the price!

I would drop back on them.
I can see that you have a limited memory on the effects of innocents being bombed in a fight that they themselves did not start.
Israel, and my point is directed to the statement that Netanyahu made warning the Obama administration "that the US is never to question him again". Is that it always seems as though anyone who challenges any policies from their leadership is seen as anti-Jewish, when of course, Israel is supposed to be a political state, and not a religious haven. No?
I abhor the actions Hamas, and I am not saying anything to dismiss the need from actions to protect a country.
Israel has GPS guided artillery, which is accurate to a fault
Accidents are rare, I know this first hand.
We did respond to an attack against us: we're still engaged in that war, and we have not gained a seeming objective as of yet, even thought we are slated to withdraw later this year. "Look up; April, 1975 Saigon.
Again, attacks, instead of dialogue.
If Reagan had been president and told Netanyahu where to get the hell off; you would be applauding him for being a "real" American.

Hamas is just as culpable as is Israel, but Netanyahu chose to chastise the US (look it up) and I have the right to say something in this regard.
Answered, and replied to!
I answered when I was called to fight in a war that was not an opinion I was making; but surviving in. Have you ever put up? If so; you should appreciate a person's right to speak his opinion.
NRA member, veteran (wounded), re-upped to go back when the necessity showed up. I don't know if you were there, but if so; you have to be human enough to understand the consequences of collateral damages.
I'm not admonishing Israel for bombing a school (which is reprehensible) I am asking why our country was called-on-the-carpet by Netanyahu, who lives quite well even by Israeli standards. And he has the American taxpayers to thank for at least some of his comforts.
Don't make s--t personal all of the time!
It is true that much money is given to Israel along with billions given to Kenya, Afghanistan, Egypt, Jordan, and so on. If the money is your only reason for the post, then I will agree that in 1997 (17 years ago) the data you supplied could be accurate. If however you are complaining about the relationship between Obama and Netanyahu, then you have been sleeping and unaware that Obama thumbed his nose at Netanyahu from the day he took office, so relationships have been in a steep decline for years. However, if you are wanting to open a discussion on the current crisis then there is much to say. First, how would you react if Mexico launched 1,700 missiles into the US? Not respond because that country is over populated? Well, the Gaza Strip has a population density of nearly 4,200 people per square kilometers, it is one of the most densely populated places on Earth. That means that someone is living on every inch of the strip. Schools are being used as safe locations for building tunnels where Hamas planned or used to enter into Israel. To respond to Hamas' attack, it became almost impossible to avoid civilian causalities. And a thing you, and others may be forgetting, Hamas has vowed to kill, yes kill as in murder every last Jew that is alive. Not just those living in Israel, but throughout the world. Now I must ask you, has Israel made such statements about any other country, race, or even animals? The French (who are not Jewish sympathizers) made an informed video complete with a map, if you would like to view it go to
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x22sj2l_the-situation-in-gaza-explained-with-a-map_news It does not go into the dark ages, it is a modern situational awareness video. Or you may just be one of the growing Liberal population that just does not hold love for Israel and its people for personal reason. Which is your right.

Netanyahu should go back to Ukraine and help them fight the Russians but the reason it is a seeming crime to disagree with the Israelis is because no one survives politically in the US otherwise.

Unless you are not qualified for a job, you should be able to find work if you are in a big city. If you live in a small town like me, then yea, it is hard to get a job, but not impossible. I have never been without work any longer then I wanted to be. If you can't find work in your field, then I would suggest cross training into a new field.
Israel was one of our biggest allies until Obama took office. Since then he has constantly shown disrespect for Israel and has been hurting them more then helping them. He is constantly telling them what to do and always to their disadvantage, like telling them to go back to their 1967 lines. Only a fool would do that, but Obama is insisting on that. If I was the PM of Israel I would ignore Obama too.
As for civilians getting killed, have you seen the pictures of Hamas hanging kids on the fence close to a rocket launching site so they would be killed if Israel responded? They use hospitals and schools to store their ammo and you wonder why civilians are being killed. They constantly use them for shields and you wonder why they get killed. I think it is time you woke up a little as to what is going on over there.

Who are WE to question anybody? We have killed 10,000's of civilians, even in countries we are not at war in. We are NOT morally superior to anybody and guilt should keep our mouths shut on every issue. My advice is not to speak about things you have absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE OF!

Facts and Math in one post, you just lost half of them..
Yet I agree it is quiet the bargain, and why do people think Obama can demand people but no one can demand him?
