So you’re saying he can close the border with an executive order. But for some reason he’s not doing it. Then why would we need a bill. Close the border I promise you we will not be mad we will absolutely praise him

Why didn’t Trump close the border with an Executive Order when he was president?

We can play "whatabout-ism" all day, but the fact is, Joe HAS gotten a lot of bills passed to help the American people. The little people. The ones in the middle that got left in the cold after DJs teaser tax cuts for the ones with kids expired.
He even got some important bills passed with the RepugHouse, with McCarthy.

The only important bill I remember that Donnie wanted and got were those tax cuts fir corporations and the mostly uber-rich. Everything else he did was by Executive order.

If Biden tries to close the border by executive order because Trump doesn't want the immigration bill passed and has scared all the GOP cowards off it, you'd all have a fit about that too. Give it a rest.

It's getting really old.

What good will it do? Bidens already let the country be invaded.

Well, Tom, maybe because he was trying to somewhat keep the peace, and placate you bunch of criminal lady parts?
Just a theory of mine. I'm not a mind reader like you.

Ain't that the truth! But the Border Bill has nothing to do with the border. It's a War Bill that seeks to funnel billions of $ to Ukraine and then only to codify Crooked Joe's failure list for the border by setting as law everyone of the demented fool's border fails.

If border security was really the priority, the Republicans would find a way to pass this bill.

This is from the GOP Senator who helped write it:

"Our immigration laws have been weak for years,” Lankford said in a statement Sunday. “This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to close our open border and give future administrations the effective tools they need to stop the border chaos and protect our nation.”

Doesn't sound like a "weak" bill to me.

Lankford is nothing but a RINO tool who will face strong primary challengers to put him out of the Senate office he has demonstrated he is not worthy to hold. Anytime a Demo praises a Repub you know the Repub is nothing but a backstabbing RINO.

That was why the bill was wrote up the way it was, they knew republicans wouldn't pass a bill that still wouldn't stop the migrants from coming over then Joe could try and use it against Trump in his campaigns. But it's not going to work because it's coming out what was all in that bill. And next of all they don't need this bill to take care of the border, all Biden has to do is close it.

That's because the Dems had the Senate and the house and they were not going to give Trump a win for anything he tried to get passed and that's why he had to do executive orders. You people are so delusional.

It has little to do with border security and more with immigration.
